Tai'an Xiyue Shanju Hotel

The rooms were nice, and the breakfast was good, mainly Chinese food. The mountain resort has beautiful scenery and is very close to the Taohuayuan bus stop. The front desk service was attentive. The triple room was very spacious, and the family room was also suitable for families.

The service was excellent; I stayed in a family room and they even provided an extra breakfast. The environment is very beautiful, built against the mountainside like a large park. It's very convenient, right next to the entrance to the Mount Tai scenic area.

The room was quite large and had a Baidu voice assistant, which initially pleased me. However, the shower head fell down when the water was turned on, almost hitting me. This should be part of routine checks; it was too dangerous.

The room was quite nice, spacious and comfortable. I booked it before attending the Mount Tai Hiking Competition. It's very close to the Taohuayu trailhead, very convenient to walk there. The hotel has a large garden area, perfect for playing with kids and taking photos. I would definitely come back next time. The breakfast selection was average, but the freshly cooked wontons were delicious.

The receptionist was very welcoming, upgraded our room for free, and even advised us not to rent hiking gear, explaining the potential time it would take to climb. She encouraged us to rest until after 9 am before heading up the mountain, and sure enough, it only took us two and a half hours to reach the summit (bus + cable car). It was a leisurely climb, not tiring at all, and not cold at all. Back at the hotel, we strolled through the charming little garden; the landscaping was done with great care. It was beautiful.

The cable car at Tianwaicun was closed for maintenance, so we booked this hotel instead. We made the right choice, though; I forgot to take pictures of the room. The room was huge, and the shower water was very hot – perfect for washing away fatigue after climbing Mount Tai. The only downside was that our room was a bit far from the elevator. The restaurant in the backyard served three meals a day. Everyone says Shandong people are generous, and the portions were huge. The stir-fried meat with mixed mushrooms was particularly good; the mushrooms seemed to include some from Mount Tai, and they tasted very fresh. Since we were traveling with elderly people, we didn't try any farm-style meals.

The hotel's surroundings are superb, with beautiful landscaping. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the breakfast isn't extensive, it's nutritionally balanced and comprehensive. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it to friends.

The hotel's landscaping and gardens were well-maintained, and the front desk service was excellent. The hotel is very close to the entrance of Mount Tai, making it convenient to get in and out. Everything was great and highly recommended! The fried chicken stall at the hotel entrance was indeed as delicious and affordable as other reviews suggested.

Because of a bad hotel I chose in Zibo, my expectations for this place plummeted. I wondered what could be good about a hotel at the foot of a mountain? Well, I was proven wrong. The hotel is huge, and the courtyard is so beautiful; I really regret not exploring it more. The rooms are also very spacious, making it perfect for families. The only downside was the breakfast... it wasn't very good. I hope they can improve that.
