This time, I was traveling with my child and got an upgrade to a suite. The room was spacious and very clean, and the service was excellent, especially from front desk staff Xiao Jiang. She even prepared toiletries and slippers for my child. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Taicang.

The environment is just okay. Both the breakfast area and the front desk are on the first floor. Breakfast is supposedly until 10:30 AM? But by 10:15 AM, a lot of the food was already gone – no milk, and a really long line for coffee. The staff didn't seem interested in resolving the issue. It was a New Year's Day holiday, so it was busy, but the food supply was clearly insufficient. Overall, the service felt stiff and outdated. For nearly 900 yuan a night, the value for money is extremely low.

It's nestled in the Rodenburg town, which has a fantastic design aesthetic. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and even gave us a free room upgrade. Both the hotel's interior and the rooms are spacious and bright; I particularly loved the blue and white ocean-themed decor. Breakfast offered a rich selection, with both Western and Chinese options available. You can also spend a leisurely afternoon sitting in the town square, watching the musical fountain and soaking up the sun. The German restaurants here are quite unique, and the Chinese food is also good. It's truly a wonderful spot for a vacation.

A very beautiful hotel set in surroundings that resemble a small German village. Precise and pleasant service. Excellent international breakfast. Very small gym, the only downside. I will definitely be back next time. Around the hotel there is a lovely walk along the lake and many good restaurants.
