The room was spacious and clean, though the facilities were a bit lacking. There's no gym, and the lounge area on the second floor didn't have air conditioning or fans, so it was quite hot. However, there are sofas in the lobby where you can relax!

The hotel is super cute and the room has a washlet toilet and a dyson-type hairdryer. The location is super convenient, only a minute walk from the closest 7 Eleven, 3 minutes to the closest bus stop, and 10 minutes walk to Taichung city station. The staff are kind and friendly. The breakfast was just OK. There is a free laundry on site, you just need to buy $25 laundry pod. However, there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer and it’s in the basement so when the hotel is full it can be quite a wait and going up and down to check the machine.

Just a short walk from Taichung Station. The room was new and the shower was clean. There was a male staff member at the front desk who spoke Japanese. Lalaport is just a few minutes' walk away, and its restaurant area had many Japanese restaurants.

This hotel is super convenient, located right behind Taichung Train Station, about a 10-minute walk straight down Dazhi Road. LaLaport, Taroko Mall, and Carrefour are all nearby, so shopping and sightseeing are right at your fingertips. The room was a bit small, but surprisingly, the bathroom was quite spacious and even had a window. The sleeping area, however, had no window, which was a bit odd in terms of design. They offer a free self-service washing machine and a dryer. You can bring your own detergent or buy some at the front desk. The staff were very friendly and polite, and the breakfast included some delicious local specialties. I'd definitely stay here again!

The Taiwan Central Land Hotel is incredibly convenient due to its excellent transport links and abundance of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it ideal for sightseeing. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff were polite and efficient, making both check-in and check-out a smooth process. On the other hand, the room size was a bit compact, and I found it a little cramped when trying to open large luggage. Additionally, the breakfast selection was standard, without anything particularly luxurious. Overall, it's a solid, reliable hotel that offers good value for money. It's more suited for short stays, whether for business or tourism, rather than extended periods.

Room is clean and the bed was super comfy. Slightly small for two large lugagges though.

Exceeded expectations! When we arrived, they gave clear instructions on parking. The front desk furniture was beautiful and comfortable. The room had lovely wooden accents and great facilities. On our first night, I forgot to close the window properly and let in some mosquitoes. The next day, I mentioned it to the front desk before we left, and by the time we returned, they had already put an electric mosquito repellent in our room. The staff at the front desk always greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Taichung!

Name was the Old School so caused some on fusion. Well located 2 minutes from the city train station. Lots of eateries around. Nice room and good value. Good breakfast

Staff was polite and nice. Location was just a 5 minutes walk from Taichung station. The room is clean and comfortable to stay. Will book again next time.

Great location close to train station and malls. The room is small to fully expand 2 big luggages and the space for utensils is limited however. Maybe good for casual travelers who’s temp. staying for a couple days with little packages.

The room was exquisite and clean, with a window and a private bathroom. It was very quiet at night and even had an automatic alarm clock function.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Location was excellent and surrounded by good food. The front desk were all very helpful and friendly. Was given a room at a corner and it was quiet. The room faces the Main Street at a high floor and had an unobstructed great view. Bed and pillow was really comfortable. Didn’t get their breakfast but the dining area was nice with illustrations on their walls and old school theme setup. Had an issue with their lights and toilet but was settled promptly when I feedback to the front desk. Only wished the room is more clean as there is visible dust pile up on areas with less usage. Overall it was good, thanks Old School Hotel!

The hotel close to various takeaway and bubble tea shops. It is also close to a decent size local shopping centre. The hotel itself quite clean however I do find it relatively small inside the room, especially it is impossible to have space for 2 medium size suitcases to open. Other than that, all good for value!
