Su Taichung Hostel

The location is great! Decent cleanliness for the price you pay. Depends on your luck if your bunkmate moves a lot during their sleep. If you are a light sleeper, recommend you get a single bed instead.

Nice hotel, so I came back for one more night, and enjoyed the stay.

This was a good trip. Got a room alone. The mattress itself is a bit loose, so you might not get the best sleep but it works. I am 27 yo.

Have a laundry area areas is clean you can do it by self check in

Location is great near to the train and bus station, there are some great food spots near to the hostel too. Breakfast is a simple toast with various spreads and there’s hot tea and milk too.

Bathroom was not that clean but the kitchen was really disgusting with bugs in the coffee in the morning, you have to pay for leaving your luggage In a locker before the checkin, no USB/ USB-c to charge your phone you need the ********* adapter, I had to buy it for one night since during my two weeks trip all the other hostels I’ve stayed at did have a USB-C one. The self check in did not work with my name but the staff did help me by changing something in the system.

The room so clean, tidy, quiet. They also provide detergent to wash the clothes. I enjoy my stay during trip to Taichung in Su Taichung. The location is very close to The Fourth Union Credit (most popular ice cream store) and 10 min by walking to Miyahara the must go beautifull desert shop!

Good location. Only good thing really. Staff a bit rude, I arrive 15min early for check in and reception staff were very blunt, edgy and negative vibe. The bed was the worst I’ve had in a hostel after 6 months travelling staying in hostels. They need to replace worn out mattresses stat - an obvious worn patch where bodies have laid. Basically lying on wood. Terrible sleep & sore back
