I prefer the B block building room versus block A .
Room is darker and colder for this room that I stayed.
Currently there is construction ongoing next door but is quiet enough . For the price I paid . I can’t say much too .
Surrounding has decent nice breakfast joint and others.
Walk less than 10 mins u can try different food .
Can stay if you getting block B.

Could have been better if housekeeping did make up the bed however they only change towel and give extra bottle. Location is ok if you are taking uber to anywhere

Room had a musky/mouldy smell. Windows can't even be opened to air out the room. My throat started feeling funny within 5 minutes of being in the room. The bed had a funny stain. Mould can be seen on the ceiling. Absolutely ridiculous that this place is a 5* hotel, completely unliveable.

You can tell this was a 4-star hotel once upon a time, but it has definitely aged. The room felt old and tardy, needing a significant refresh. However, there are still some nice lingering touches, like the Crabtree & Evelyn shower gel provided in the bathroom.
The location is excellent for exploring—it's near several bus stops that connect you to various places around the city. For food, skip the hotel and head to the ********* breakfast spot right opposite the entrance

Convenient location - with all sorts of stores around the vicinity. Tried the massage place across the street ( it was superb) and great beef noodles stall + boba tea all within walking distance.
The hotel is nice and clean with a robotic cocktail bar in the lobby, and Starbucks too!

Families, please don't fall for the 5-star reviews, they're all fake. When checking out, there were several boxes of coffee next to the counter, and you'd get a 5-star review for taking one.
As soon as I opened the room door, there was a strong smell of mold. Also, there was only one switch for the entire room, and when you turned it off, only the bathroom light stayed on – no nightlights or anything like that. The room wasn't clean either; there was a lot of dust on the bedside lamp.
There were also strange yellow stains on the duvet cover, and the mirror faced directly towards the bed, so you could see yourself as soon as you sat up. I was very uncomfortable during my two-day stay at the hotel, having nightmares every night.
I wouldn't stay here again even if they paid me.

1. Seriously, Trip.com, what gives you the confidence to rate (The Feng Jia Hotel) five diamonds?
2. The hotel's main glass door lacks anti-collision markings, and the lobby is a mess.
3. The wallpaper in the room is peeling everywhere.
4. There are no power outlets by the bed, and the value for money is terrible. When I asked the front desk for a power strip, they gave me a whole list of conditions.
5. The breakfast area is dirty, and the service is poor. For a five-diamond hotel, you have to clear your own dishes after breakfast.
Trip.com customer service, if you see this review, please seriously answer my first question. Thank you!!!

The room's location was very convenient, but the facilities were quite old. The soundproofing was terrible; you could hear conversations from the next room. They eventually moved us to another room, which solved the problem.

Yong Fong Zang Hotel | Over a thousand for a 'self-service guesthouse,' avoid at all costs!
Spent over a thousand staying at Yong Fong Zang, only to find it was entirely self-service throughout – the experience was incredibly poor!
The room facilities are old and outdated, exuding a cheap feel everywhere. Nowadays, disposable toiletries aren't provided in Taiwan, so bringing your own toothbrush and such is understandable, but there wasn't even basic hand soap. Having to bring a full set of toiletries when staying at a hotel – what's the difference between this and a hostel?
There was zero sense of service throughout. The front desk was indifferent, and breakfast was perfunctory; the variety and taste were terrible, and to top it all off, after eating, you have to clear your own plates and tidy the table yourself. Am I here to stay at a hotel or to be a cleaner?
They price themselves against mid-to-high-end hotels, but the service and amenities are even worse than domestic budget hotels. If you're looking to spend money on good service, steer clear and avoid this pitfall!

The room was decent, but the toilet flush was not well maintained and did not work properly during my stay. This was quite inconvenient and I hope the hotel improves maintenance for future guests.

Hotel room equip with a huge bathtub suitable for couples, a great experience👍
However, the location is quite far from Taichung HSR and 20mins walk from nearest City Hall MRT. but just a short taxi ride to Ningxia Night Market.
