Taichung Charming City Hotel

Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Siwei Elementary School MRT station, with plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and the A/C works great. This is my second stay here, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taichung.

The service attitude was excellent! My stay this time was very satisfying. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the environment was quiet. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were friendly and polite, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The overall quality exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay again if I have the chance and will recommend it to my friends and family!

Overall, it was pretty good. However, there was no charging spot next to the bed, and I found the previous guest's hair tie in the room, which really annoyed me. But I didn't make a fuss with the staff.

My stay this time was a bit disappointing, primarily due to the parking situation. Since we had a car and weren't planning on going out in the evening, the front desk lady very kindly directed us to the hotel's parking elevator. However, she didn't check the elevator's weight limit or our car's tonnage beforehand. Our car was already inside the elevator, but the rolling gate just wouldn't close. Later, another male staff member came over and only then asked us about our car's engine size and weight. I thought this was incredibly dangerous ⚠️. The car was so big and heavy; what if the elevator couldn't handle the weight and broke, causing it to fall? Car damage is one thing, but that woman would surely be in serious trouble, as she was standing inside the elevator operating it. I think you should really consider a different approach; this method is far too dangerous. No one should be standing inside the car elevator.
