Taichung West District Hotels

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Calligraphy Greenway. The single room is small but features a tatami setup, which is quite comfortable. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spacious.

Great hotel, conveniently located in front of a beautiful part. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was great and The Place was clean. I’d stay here again.

The room was good and clean. And they offer a self-service laundry- of course you need to pay your laundry which is fare enough. But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.

The exterior looks decent, but the interior feels a bit dated, and the room itself is old and not quite clean. I found hair and some stains. On the day of check-in, there was an esports competition downstairs which was very noisy. The upside is the good location, quite close to the attractions.

A tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. It's conveniently located near the intersection of bustling Gongyi Road and Zhongming South Road, one of Taichung's main thoroughfares. Eslite Spectrum Park Lane (including Calligraphy Greenway and Civic Square) is just an 8-minute walk away. If you turn left from the hotel entrance onto Zhongming South Road, you'll find a direct bus stop to the High-Speed Rail (HSR) station. While the hotel isn't new, it's clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.

9 out of 10, very satisfied! This hotel, much like Chen Meifeng (a ********* celebrity), has maintained its beauty and charm over the years. It was once the most prestigious hotel in Taichung, and it still feels brand new today. The entrance opens right onto Calligraphy Greenway, making it feel like you're staying in a park – absolutely beautiful. The room lighting was a little dim, but everything else was flawless. I'll definitely be back!

Brilliant spot with loads of food options including breakfast before 11am and a coffee shop across the road also open before 11am. Heaps of small owner operators selling a vast array of things including great old school seperate component stereo gear. It’s a walk from Taichung park and there’s a bus stop outsas well

The hotel was clean and nice, but the windows were thin, so there was a lot of draft and noise, which was a drawback. Since I was with a child, I wiped the floor so they could play, and found quite a bit of dust in the crevices. The bathroom ventilation for humidity wasn't great either, but it wasn't a major issue during our stay!

Better than expected! They give you two drink coupons worth 120원 per night. Check-in was handled kindly. If you have Netflix or Disney+ accounts, you can watch them on the TV in the room. The bed is also above average. There's no breakfast, but there are many ********* breakfast places nearby, which might be a good experience to try.

Location: not as convenient as some hotels near Taichung Station. Anyway, the subway system in Taichun is not as comprehensive as Taipei city. So in Taichung, many times have to rely mainly on taxi. Facilities: Rooms are clean free laundry machines on 7th floor hot/cold water dispensers eco-friendly amenities can be requested Lobby provides complimentary snacks, beverages, and books for guests Overall, the service staffs are great, providing great advices on tourist attractions. Even the housekeeping staffs are polite n friendly many eateries around the hotel. There are free bikes provided by the hotel. Great place to stay. Highly recommended
