Taipung Suites

This is our second stay here. The location is great, with many restaurants nearby and close to Guohua Street. Plus, they have a sparkling water machine and a gym, which both adults and kids love!

Great water pressure and a comfortable bed. It's a shame the bar on the second floor was temporarily closed.

The room was comfortable, but there were no power outlets near the bed for charging. The bathtub was great and didn't make you slide around. However, there were obvious water stains on the showerhead that hadn't been cleaned. Also, my name was incorrect at check-in, so make sure to double-check. Initially, both room cards didn't work, and we had to ask a staff member to reset them.

At first glance, it's not a fancy hotel; it's more of a simple style. The service is kind and enthusiastic ❤️, and the rooms are also minimalist, clean, and comfortable. It's very quiet at night, making it a great place to get some rest. The only downside is that the hairdryer is too mini, and the airflow is too weak, which made me hesitant to wash my hair 🤣🤣🤣. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely stay at again! 😍😍😍😍😍

The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable.

The family room was spacious and comfortable, with a desk, a sofa in front of the bed, and a large TV. The sparkling water from the dispenser was a definite plus. The staff guiding us in the elevator felt very welcoming. While there's no pool, the rooftop gym is clean and roomy. Breakfast offered made-to-order egg dishes. It was a bit of a shame that each day had a different theme; on our stay, it was Japanese, and they offered tonkotsu ramen (which was just okay). Personally, I would have preferred to try Tainan's local specialties like beef soup, squid rice vermicelli, or milkfish congee. The bread toaster even had a spray bottle, which showed great attention to detail.

The facilities, breakfast, and afternoon tea were excellent. The TV connected directly to the internet, so I could watch YouTube and Netflix. There was no bottled water, but I could fill up at the water dispenser on each floor or get sparkling water, which was a great experience.
