Tainan West Central District Hotels

This hotel has a pretty good location; you can walk directly from Tainan Station, it's not far at all. The staff here are very kind and lovely. There are complimentary snacks available for all guests in the lobby on the first floor. The staff provided excellent recommendations for everything, including detailed instructions on house rules, how to use the room, and how to operate the hot and cold water system in the room. The bedroom size is just right, and there's a TV. The area around the hotel is a bustling community with many shops. If I have the chance to visit Tainan again, I would definitely stay here. It's really great, highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Tainan!

The nightstand had a strong odor that was really pungent and kept wafting into my nose while I was sleeping. I'm guessing it's new, and I hope the hotel can do something to air it out 🤣. Otherwise, the location is excellent, it's clean and tidy, and very convenient for getting around.

My overall experience at Yoai was great. While the hotel is a bit far from the train station, it is very close to a shopping center, and YouBike rentals are conveniently located just outside. The hotel was very clean, and the lobby was fantastic, with hot water and comfortable seating. The front desk staff were somewhat less friendly, but still polite and helpful.

We had chosen to stay in this hotel not because of it’s great location nor the value for stay but because of the wonderful staff who had impressed us with the famous Tainan hospitality. I had came to this hotel first time few years ago as the solo traveler came to Tainan for its famous history and Local cuisine. Now few years later, i had returned year after year and had brought my husband to visit this beautiful city and chosen to stay in this hotel because of my friendship with YaA-Ping and the hotel manager throughout the years. It is a special bond and it has made my trip very memorable and I had recommend it to others for this hotel of these special friends. They truly made this place stands out.

Fantastic hotel in a very strategic location. Easy access to Tainan's main attractions. Comfy beds and good air con. Overall outstanding value so I stayed here twice. Amazing views especially at night time from the upper floors. Sadly a pretty average brekky spread with cheap ingredients. Keeping the hot food hot would be a great start before they work on improving the dishes.

Stayed in 2 different rooms. The 1st day room was awful on 9th floor. The bed was super hard like spring mattress with no give especially when sleeping sideways. The bathroom was old and dirty bathtub and the carpet was icky. Asked for a room change as I can't stand the room and I'm a pretty tolerant person. Luckily they offered 7th floor room, much better and probably newer with electronic card key, fresher cleaner bathroom and comfier bed. The 2 rooms has the same room size.

The price is cheap and the accommodation environment is large. It is located in downtown Tainan. There is a tea shop next door. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is clean and tidy. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Tainan.

This hotel seems quite new, about a 10-minute walk from the station. Some facilities aren't fully open yet, but there's a coffee machine in the lobby. The disposable slippers in the room are thick-soled, and there are small cans of Coke and Pocari Sweat. Streaming services are available, and all the requests from my booking were noted, which was very thoughtful. :) I hope they can add a makeup mirror or full-length mirror in the room. The sink is a bit too small, and it would be even better if they had a bidet toilet. It's a shame that in the semi-open shower, water easily splashes everywhere, making it quite wet. Still, it's a good place for a simple overnight stay! A pretty good hotel, worth recommending.

Strategic location. Easy access to famous Chihkan tower and full of eatery around the hotel. Room is clean and aircon is cool.
