Pros: 1. The mini-bar on the 2nd floor is great with a wide selection, very clean, and also has kids' play facilities and communal dining areas. Plus, there are free instant noodles and snacks. 2. Hot water pressure is excellent and sufficient. 3. The staff are very friendly and gentle. 4. Free laundry service. Things to note: It's about an 8-10 minute walk from Ximen. This might not be an issue for younger people, but those traveling with seniors should be aware. However, there are many eateries along the way, so you don't have to worry about food at night.

Very good hotel! I really liked the amenities. They offer free unlimited snacks, free laundry service, and you can even borrow umbrellas when it rains. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They also provide daily housekeeping. I would definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Taiwan with my friends.

Facilities: Everything was great, except for the lack of toiletries. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, met the star-rating standards. Environment: Super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Ximending. Lots of food options and shopping. Excellent location and great value for money. Service: The service attitude was fantastic! Perhaps because it was the off-season and they had availability, they allowed us to check in early for free. We also received a very ceremonial check-in card that included a postcard, a thoughtful map, dining discount vouchers, and a puzzle! After coloring in the puzzle, you can stick it on the wall to commemorate your stay. There's also a social area on the second floor, and the best part is that all the snacks and drinks provided there are free!

Everything was perfect, from the convenient location to the friendly and helpful staff, who were always ready to assist. Although the rooms were compact, they were well organized and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A truly pleasant experience — highly recommended!

This is an excellent hotel. The location is great; it's quiet at night, and Ximending is only about a 10-minute walk away. The shower pressure is fantastic, very comfortable. However, starting in 2026, toiletries will no longer be provided, so you'll need to bring your own. But even that doesn't detract from how highly I recommend it.

This is one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at in Taipei. All hotels are expensive and typically pretty cramp, but this one has real charm and the staff are friendly.

My initial impression was pretty good, but on the second day, I woke up to find both my legs covered in flea bites. Even though the staff immediately moved me to a different room, I've been here so many times before and never experienced anything like this.

The quad room, while not huge, was perfectly adequate for resting. It was clean and hygienic. The second floor also offered complimentary snacks, drinks, and instant noodles.

We had the most amazing time at Cho Hotel, especially my boy enjoying the pantry! the staff was amazing! they were so friendly and helpful. I will 100% stay here again. 10/10 stay.

Very good place to stay. Location near Ximending, they also give us FREE unlimited snack and cup noodle. Very good concept ! Definetly will come back

The room was a bit small, but the snack bar more than made up for it. All sorts of free snacks! The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great. The staff were friendly and the location is excellent!

Had a very pleasant stay. Nice little hotel with a nostalgic theme. Great location with many little shops and eateries nearby. Room is tiny but neat and clean. Staff are helpful and cheerful. Overall CHO is a lovely place to stay in Ximending.

Nice little hotel with free amenities., such as: free DIY laundry services with dryer, free lounge snacks at level 2 (good for kids as there a indoor playground inside), cable TV, Kettle, hairdryer. Lift to every floor Extras: booking of taxi to the airport, which requires advance booking with the front desk (payment to be made to the driver directly). Staff : friendly (👍) Only downside:  1)  they do not provide hotel slippers (unless you do not mind walking  bare footed on the carpet flooring. 2) And pillows are kinda soft. Note: 1) bring your own personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver) as part of their eco-initiative movement. 2) do not flush down used toilet paper into the toilet bowl.
