the location is great, it is near xi men ding night market, walkable distance. super convenient to travel around too. will definitely go back there again.

Good location, about 10 mins walk from Xi Men MRT, nice breakfast and view of Tamsui River. Breakfast selection is good too, even for vegetarian friendly. I went for a run in the river area and also cycling using YOUBIKE

Very Good Location near 西门町 and clean Room, the hotel is old, it still use old triditional physical key and with central aircon system, but the room is fitted with dehumidifier. Please note that for the recent renovated Room, although the power socket is multi plug compatable socket type , but for UK plug, the power cord cannot be pluged into the socket propery due to the obstruction of power socket flip cover .

The place is about 10 mins away from ximending, location is good. Place is tidy and neat too. Would recommend. 🥰

Hotel was new and clean as well as room design was modern. Location was good which very near ximending plus there were alot of restaurants near to hotel. Breakfast variety was good and breakfast restaurant view was fantastic where u van view nice bridge and river.

Bed bugs, pillow bugs, weird insect on the bed bite my legs. Very old hotel. Expressway very noisy.

The walls are paper thin. I could clearly hear the toilet flushing in the room next door and guests opening and closing their doors in the hallway. I was even woken up in the morning by staff talking loudly on walkie-talkies right outside my room. The location is decent, but that's about the only positive.

The location is not exactly central Ximending if you're looking for that BUT it is a 10min walk to Ximending if you're a slow stroller like me and I think the location is great. It's not noisy or crowded and I like how when you are walking towards Ximending, you will pass by the famous Milk Donut shop. A good morning perk up or a night snack when you leave or head back to the hotel. They're also located opposite the river where you can do morning/evening runs which my brother did. Maybe just go during high tied instead of low tied, mainly due to the smell of the river during low tied. Room size? Amazing. I was pleasantly surprise at the size of the twin bedroom. It had more than ample space to open two luggages with alot more space to dance around or chill or just put your shopping bags. A really good space.Even the doorway is big with a huge mirror. I love that the room had a window that is big enough to see the world outside. My room had a view of the river. Really beautiful during sunsets. I get very claustrophobic and alot of the hotels in Ximen have no windows so this is extremely pleasant. Bed was comfortable. There is a TV but do not expect netflix or anything like that. It's really just showing local channels. Toilet looks little old and dated BUT it's clean. It's spacious. The toilet bowl comes with a bidet (MAJOR PLUS). There is a shower bathtub situation and the water is nice and warm when I want it to be while showering so I wasn't very bothered by how it looked. Oh! Towels are amazing! The whole place, honestly, is old vibes but it's one of the best stays I've had in Taipei since the first time I started coming 6 years ago. Also very conviniently located if you take Uber often, I feel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. A pleasant stay. Will definitely come back!

Hotel lobby tip top condition, but rooms level may need to upgrade. Room air con cannot control. Window sound proof is good to cut down traffic noise. Near ximen shopping street.
