Rich & Free was a great location to settle in as a first stop in Taipei/Taiwan, especially since we valued location above all else. Just a short walk from Taipei station and pretty easy to find, it was good to just walk over after arrival at TPE via Airport line. Really close from many major sights in central Taipei, including the Ximending market area. Convenience stores are right downstairs for almost anything needed. Rooms are small but were very clean and had good design.

I love a good find! Like this hotel! I didn’t expect much but it’s cute, clean, cosy and just perfect for short stays! I’m definitely coming back. We got upgraded into a room with 2 king beds! So it was rather spacious. There’s a tiny window but not a problem. Room was clean. Cosy. Good pillow quality. Comfortable bed. Huge mirror in the bathroom, hot showers work well. No bidet. The lobby is cute. Snacks for free, juice boxes, free flow coffee. Just wash the cups after using them. Location, just a couple of minutes walk to main station, 10 mins walk to Ximending. Lots of restaurants around. Family mart, 7-eleven. Halal shops are also just 260m away!

This hotel does well in alot of things - central location (within the city), free snacks, tea and coffee in pantry to chill/rest, and the dehumidifier in the room 👍👍 Perhaps just want to take note that the "window" for the room is the window from the toilet, for which I assume you would want to close the blinds when you are using...and doesn't pass light well through the frosted glass. Lacks natural light in a sense, i personally wouldn't list the room as having a window. Still a good comfortable stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price! I went in with low expectations, thinking it would be run-down because of the cost, but it was actually pretty good. If you're looking for an affordable place close to Taipei Main Station, I'd recommend it! The staff were also super friendly. It'd be perfect for your first night in Taipei or the night before you head to the airport. Thumbs up! I highly recommend it if you're not overly particular and generally easygoing. ^__^

We loved the hotel because of the location first and foremost amd the staff who was so kind and helpful. Our room was the right size for my family of 4. Snacks and drinks were free at the lounge.

Very comfortable stay, thumbs up to the housekeeping team! The pantry corner with snacks, coffee and fruit juice is very welcoming. The location is excellent. Ximending, Taipei main station and Dihua Street are minutes' walk away. Wide variety of food choices too. Would give it a perfect score if the shower stall is bigger. The 2 in 1 hair and body wash is a bit too drying on the skin, so would highly recommend to bring along some body moisturiser.
