Taipei Inn

I stayed here by myself, but it seems I accidentally booked a double room for two. Also, perhaps due to the long weekend or peak Saturday rates, I was a bit disappointed to find that I booked it for a higher price than what was displayed at the hotel. However, the location is great, making it very convenient to head back to the hotel for a rest in between sightseeing. The room was also kept clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. Overall, I am satisfied.

The location is excellent, just about a 2-minute walk from Taipei Main Station. However, there was no hot water for the shower in my room.

I chose an economy room instead of a dormitory. Slippers were not provided, but towels were. The shower didn't have a door, so the sink and toilet got wet. I checked out around 11 PM without staying the full night, due to a late-night flight. It was good to be able to lie down on a bed, even if it was small, as wandering around until late was tiring and I dislike sleeping at the airport. The location is excellent, right behind Mitsukoshi.

The hotel is conveniently located opposite Taipei Main Station, making transportation very easy, and there are many dining options nearby. However, the room was really small, with hardly enough space for two people to move around. On the bright side, the staff were very friendly and cleaned the room and changed towels daily. It's a convenient choice for business travelers.

The room is a bit small and can feel a little stuffy, but since I was out all day and came back late every night, it was fine. The room was clean and tidied daily. The bathroom, on the other hand, was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly. It's close to Gate Z4 of Taipei Main Station. However, thanks to getting lost once, I discovered a closer way into the station – just go into the shop directly opposite across the street (pictured below) and you're in the station.

The hotel was great! The room was perfect for a solo traveler; I didn't feel unsafe at all. It's close to many restaurants and also near the MRT station. The entrance to the room looked a little eerie, but it wasn't bad. If I go to Taiwan again, I'll definitely stay here again!
