Hotel Relax II Reviews

This location is fabulous. You can walk to anywhere as long as you want to. Walking to airport mtr is near, walking to the taipei main station is also near. I walked to Ningxia night market, well, it's under 2km.. and ximending area, should be under 1.5km.

Room & bathroom is small, not comfortable to use. 2 electric plug covers drop off from the wall in the room, it seem dangerous to use. Bed is comfort but it facing the main door which is not good position according Chinese culture believe.

Very happy and thankful for the free upgrade to a triple room which was at a quiet corner! Convenient location, very short walk to Taipei Main Station. Cosmed, Poya, Watsons, Uniqlo, convenient stores and many eateries around the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, like that they provided a flask in every room for you to get water from the lobby, kettle was also provided in the room. Water pressure in bathroom was strong and constant hot water running.

Easy to locate, very convenient to walk to neighbouring metro stations, has washer/dryer at Lobby Level

The hotel's location is super convenient, about a 7-minute walk from Taipei Main Station. There are tons of places to eat and shop nearby. The room facilities are complete, but it's a bit small. For a short stay of one or two nights, it's not a big deal.

Nice hotel with a good price

This hotel is near the main stations and with a lots of eateries and can walk to Ximenting in 15min. The room size is average but is really dated and rundown. The recept was ok and hotel provies hot and drinking water at the Lobby. Room wise the bed is soft, sheet looked clean. The wall panel is peeling off and bathroom is full of molds. The toilet is rather small but w bidet. If just need a convenient location to sleep & bath, it is ok. Otherwise it is quite unpleasant to hv a room w full of molds esp those w sensitive nose or allergic to dusts. Toilet is v v small.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Relax 2. It is so conveniently located near Taipei Main Station 👍 We took the bigger deluxe room so it was perfect for us, allowing us to freely open our luggage bags yet have good space to move around the room. And I liked the big bath tub too 👍 Tip: Exit TMS via West Gate 3 and you’ll see a big traffic cross-junction just ahead. Cross over and it’s a very short walk to Hotel Relax 2. The service staff there were all very helpful and nice folks 👍👍 We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Our room was on 2nd floor, and while small, it was sufficient for 2 people for a 2 night Christmas stay. Reminded me of Japan hotel rooms. A highlight was the dining area in the room, which was convenient and comfortable for enjoying takeaways when we wanted to avoid queues for dining. The beds are spring-based and on the softer side. Make sure to close windows tightly for soundproofing; while it doesn't block 100% of street noise, it was sufficient for light sleeper like me. It was bit noisy during Christmas festivities at night but very quiet in the mornings. The location is excellent - right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Watsons, Uniqlo downstairs. If you have luggage, I recommend exiting via Exit Z2 at Taipei Main Station for elevator.

Excellent location, very easy to get to, and close to Taipei Main Station. They only clean every three days, so keep that in mind before booking. Also, there's a TWD 1000 deposit required at check-in.

Good to stay this hotel. The hotel is near mrt including convenient stores. There are two bottles of water, body and hair wash lotion, hair conditioner and towels. However, you can refill water bottles at Lobby of the hotel.

The hotel is not very close to the metro station, but it is still within walking distance. The hotel lobby has a washer and dryer available for free (laundry detergent can be obtained from the counter). There is also a coffee machine in the lobby.

The TV is not functioning well, as it turn off and on by itself. We . We went down and inform the counter person. The person is not friendly and doesn’t seems to be believe us at first. Ask us to use the remote to off it. We can’t off it that’s ask approach for help. He somehow unwilling to help but have no choice but to went up with us. He took around 3 mins to help us settle the TV. When asked him what is the no. to call the reception, he say press 7 which is WRONG!!! Will not stay in this hotel in future. Only one of the staff is approachable, rest of the staff are not friendly at all!!!

I stayed for 4 consecutive nights in Taipei, and the overall experience was very convenient. The hotel lobby offers luggage storage, and there are washing machines and dryers available. You can also request laundry detergent pods from the front desk, which is very thoughtful for long-stay guests. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable; I really liked the design style, although the wallpaper had started to bubble and peel in some areas. While there was a window, the view was nothing special. The heated toilet seat was a major plus. The cleanliness was decent, though the hotel policy states that rooms are only cleaned and linens changed every 3 days. The location is excellent for transportation and amenities. It's just a 4-minute walk to Taipei Main Station's Z4 exit (note: this exit does not have an elevator), and Ximending is only a 13-minute walk away. Downstairs, there's a convenience store, McDonald's, and Shinkong Mitsukoshi department store, making daily shopping and dining extremely convenient.
