Yi Su Hotel (Taipei Ningxia)

The price was really affordable, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The only drawback was the cleanliness; it was truly dirty. When I entered, I found hair that wasn't mine all over the room, even under the mattress protector.

The stay exceeded my expectations. It's conveniently located with good transport links and very clean. A great choice for the city center. It's a shame it was fully booked on the weekend though.

The room was clean, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The location was also very convenient.

The location is excellent! It's only a 10-minute walk to Taipei Main Station and a 5-minute walk to Ningxia Night Market. The area is mostly residential, so it's very quiet at night, which is great for sleeping. The hot water pressure is also very good.

This hotel offers a fantastic location and comfort, perfect even on rainy days. The underground passages from the airport to the city center made getting around stress-free. The room with a window felt spacious and refreshing. It's perfectly compact for 1-2 guests. ⭐︎ Location & Access It's within walking distance of Taipei Main Station via the underground shopping malls, which was a huge help in sheltering from rain and wind. Across the street from the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven, and Ningxia Night Market is right nearby. Dihua Street and Zhongshan Station are also just about a 10-minute walk away. The transportation links are excellent for getting anywhere. There's a YouBike station close by, making it easy to enjoy sightseeing by bicycle. It's a good idea to check how to use the service on a Japanese app beforehand for peace of mind. ⭐︎ Room & Facilities The room was meticulously cleaned, and the linens were spotless. While some areas show their age, the hygiene was impeccable. The sink and shower areas also show some wear, but they were perfectly functional and comfortable to use. Being in an upper-floor room with a window, it felt much more open than rooms without one. The TV offered about 40 channels, and I even found myself getting engrossed in some nostalgic Japanese shows. ⭐︎ Dining & Comfort For dinner, you could enjoy the night market or bring food back to the room to pair with a beer – both are great options. The room is compact, making it an ideal size for 1-2 people. ⭐︎ Overall This hotel strikes a great balance between convenient location, cleanliness, and comfort. Moving around on a rainy day was stress-free thanks to the arcades. It's perfect for both solo travelers and stays with friends. I'd definitely consider this hotel for my next visit to Taipei.

The location was great, very close to Ningxia Night Market and within walking distance to Carrefour. The hotel staff were also very kind.

The location is excellent, very close to Ningxia Night Market, which I really appreciated. However, the soundproofing is non-existent; I could hear everything, from hair dryers to people coughing. Other than that, I didn't have any particular concerns and had a perfectly fine stay.
