We stayed there2 nights in May 2025 and decided to stay again in Dec 2025 for 5 nights . Great location and well decorated hotel.  But the service, the cleanliness and the breakfast are not up to the standards and the price.  We complain about the cleaning - nothing was done (see pictures )  For breakfast ~ better choose an option nearby - the quality of bread is terrible and the choice is very limited-  We won’t stay there next time

Nice hotel with nice staff. Breakfast delicious and more variety to choose . Interior design was fanstitic

This hotel had style.  Great art work ( Salvador Dali )  , beautifully decorated and the rooms were stylish. Staff were always polite and willing to help.   It’s located in the upmarket area of Taipei and close to the subway system

The location of the hotel is just right in the city center. If you would like to travel by subway, it’s an easy 7 minute walk. It’s a very small hotel without pool. First room category is quite small. If you stay 2 people will be very tight, no space to walk. Breakfast is not something to expect but they have smoked salmon which is quite nice. Service is a 4-star hotel service. Overall, a good hotel to stay if the price doesn’t surge above NTD 5,000

❌: Most rediculous hotel. TV doesn’t work, room feels mody, and there has no gym (not the end of the world but I am simply shocked!) . The staff not 5 star standard but very accommodating. ⭕️: staff are very friendly, there’s B&O audio love it! Great shower, location is good (may not apply to everyone but I like the quietnesses.

The location and bed lining are good; however, the room I s quiet small and hotel lacks its own parking space for SUVs and larger cars makes it hard to recommend.

This hotel has many flaws. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about a lighting issue, and they said it couldn't be turned off. The air conditioning was too loud, and the motion-sensor trash can was broken. Previously, the weighing scale in the room was also broken. After I spoke with a staff member, they changed my room. However, the weighing scale in the new room had no power, and there weren't even small face towels. The air conditioning was so loud I couldn't sleep.

Not the first time staying in this hotel. Spacious room with good tea and coffee. Close by  convenient store and station.

The facilities are excellent and the hotel has a lot of character. It's very walkable to nearby attractions. The only downside might be that it's a bit far from the nearest subway station, so those traveling with luggage and planning to take the subway here should keep that in mind.

Fantastic boutique hotel in Taipei. Location is fantastic. Hotel lounge and Bellini restaurant in the basement provide excellent food. The staff were amazingly warm and took services very seriously. My daughter and I stayed for 5 days four nights and had a fabulous time. We will consider Eclat first when we come back to Taipei next time.

I frequently stay at this hotel. It's one of the best value-for-money five-star hotels out there, with a great artistic ambiance. The only downside is that check-in usually takes a bit longer than expected.

The room is marvellous. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. The only slight downside is that the location is a bit of a walk to the subway stations, but there are plenty of shops nearby, including a night market, so overall this is still good. Would stay here again if I were to visit Taipei again.

Our family of six stayed at Hotel Èclat Taipei, occupying three different rooms on Level 5. Overall, the rooms were cosy, stylish, and felt luxurious, but our experience varied noticeably from room to room. One point to note is the lack of basic amenities — toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided, which may surprise some guests. Additionally, the room features were inconsistent: - One room had heated toilet seats, while the other two did not. - One room had automated curtains, while the rest were manual. - Another room had warm water from the bidet, but others did not. Although Hotel Èclat is a 5-star hotel, the lobby is relatively small and may feel cramped, especially when multiple guests are checking in at the same time. Sound insulation could also be improved, as we occasionally heard guests laughing late at night. That said, there were definite highlights. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and both the water pressure and bath products were excellent, making showers very enjoyable. These details made a big difference to our comfort. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent. It is extremely close to Taipei 101, which is very convenient for guests planning to visit the area. The hotel is also situated between two MRT stations on the Red Line, each approximately 400–600 metres away. Walking to and from the MRT stations was pleasant, especially with the cool December weather, making the commute comfortable and enjoyable. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast, as we preferred exploring traditional ********* breakfast options nearby. The staff were polite, professional, and accommodating, assisting us with umbrella rentals and ensuring our rooms were on the same floor, which we appreciated greatly as a family travelling together. Overall, Hotel Èclat offers a comfortable stay in a prime location with attentive service, though greater consistency in room features, amenities, and shared spaces would further enhance the experience.

Blocks away from the metro station and situated where Taipei 101 can be walkable. Free snacks at the lobby and very attentive staff. Room can be cramped but well maintained.
