Citizen Hotel

This hotel is conveniently located near MRT Dongmen Station, with popular attractions like Yongkang Street, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and Dongmen Market all within walking distance. While the building itself is a bit old, the interior is newly renovated and very clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The breakfast, though not extravagant, was thoughtfully prepared, and I didn't get tired of it even after a 7-day stay.

Years ago, I often stayed at this hotel when I visited Taipei because I loved the food at Dongmen Market. After many years, I returned and found that the room had been renovated. However, in the entire room, there was only one power outlet by the desk against the wall, and no outlets on either side of the bed. For the digital age, it's common to use your phone in bed, but not being able to charge it is a real shame and a significant drawback. The breakfast, as always, was delicious; although there weren't many options, the taste was excellent.

The hotel rooms are new and the double room we stayed in was spacious. They offer valet parking. The breakfast spread was excellent. It's close to Yongkang Street and Taipei 101, making transportation very convenient. My top choice for a trip to Taipei!

The hotel's breakfast menu changes daily and is delicious. Its convenient location near the MRT makes it easy for travelers to get around.

The location is fantastic, very close to bus stops and MRT exits, and there's even a parking lot, which is convenient for travelers from out of town. However, since it was Chinese New Year, I didn't get a spot there, but there are street parking spaces nearby and also a paid parking lot (you'll have to cover that cost yourself). The hotel offers breakfast; the selection isn't huge, but they have the essentials and replenish items regularly. The soundproofing in the room is quite good, and the shower has excellent water pressure. All the staff I encountered were pleasant.
