Swiio Hotel Ximending

Location is great, right in Ximending! The entrance to lift are a bit hidden and old, but overall still convenient. Plenty of shopping, food, and bubble tea spots nearby, and it’s just a short walk to the train station.

Clean and nice place, there's a washing machine at the top floor!

All time fav hotel for my tw trip. Been staying at this hotel for more than 5 times. Location good, room is clean and cosy. The only downside that i encountered during this stay was the fire alarm. The fire alarm went off at 3am for 2 nights out of my 5 nights stay here. This was indeed an "experience" which left me feeling paranoid and having phobia for the remaining nights. Otherwise, all is good!

Convenient location in the heart of Ximen. You got bars, walking street and the subway is only 5 minutes away. Definitely recommend

Very convinent location close of Ximen station. Just 7-8min walk with shelter mostly. Crowded and popular neighboring thus even late at night still lots of people around. Hotel lobby is 6/F. Get card to tap the senor to get lift to 5/F, which the lift lobby is filled with salon smell of perming and conditioner chemicals. The room is fine. No smell. Probably because it's furthest away from the lobby. It's clean. Towels and water pressure and temp are OK though the mirror is slightly damaged. Overall very good if you plan go out all the time and back just for sleep. The walls are super thin though. I heard the people next door shout / laugh / scream (there are kids next door) in late evening(like 11pm). I can't hear any noise outside though. A down side of the room is the one step up to the toilet and another step up to the bed which can be inconvenient for some people. To those with long hair: there is NO conditioner for hair provided. Appreciate if Trip or the hotel can update this. Otherwise helpful staff. I heard the breakfast that they help book is famous. I didn't try though.

Location is superb with convenience shops, eateries and bubble tea shops at the door step. Sound insulation is very bad. When your neighbor showers there is a very water gushing sound near the you can hear clearly people talking along the corridor. Definitely not a hotel for light sleepers. WiFi connection is almost non existent… though there are a few spots to connect, there is no internet connection or it barely loads/unstable. I had to rely on my eSIM data instead throughout the entire stay. Hotel offers offering food from famous stall, a convenience factor which may favor some travelers.
