Doitsu Hotel

The hotel facilities appeared somewhat dated. There was a layer of grime beneath the sink, and after wiping the desk surface with an alcohol wipe, some residue was visible on the tissue. In addition, there were a few stains on parts of the walls.

Really good experience. A short walking distance from ZHONGSHANGUOXIAO MRT Station, exit 4, turn right, a 50m short walk, then turn left to a long path, abt 150m, looking up and will see a signboard, the hotel is on yr left hand side. Exit 4 is nearer than what it mentioned from Exit 1 to the hotel.

The hotel room is spacious with a shower and separate bath tub. We booked a room with three beds which is suitable for our family for four. The room is showing its age with carpet looking dirty. My husband picked up nutshells off the carpet that’s probably left by previous occupants. There’s only 1 lift which can take 4-5 persons with bags comfortably—be patient and if not, take the stairs. The location is near PX supermarkets, convenient stall, upmarket restaurants and roadside stalls. Pretty convenient for food choices.

The bed on the lower ground floor is not very comfortable. It is quite hard and makes it difficult to sleep.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. I had a pleasant stay overall. It would be even better if the hotel offered single rooms, which would be ideal for solo travelers.

Hotel is in a good area as it is near a train station (~3-5mins walk), convenient stores (711 & FamilyMart) beside it and a direct bus that goes to ShiLin night market (15-20mins). Overall cleanliness is still okay as during my stay there was an unpleasant but bearable smell in the room, toilet “window” has a lot of dirt and mould on it but bed is clean. Do kindly note that they provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash but not toothbrush and toothpaste. The toilet seat functions was not working in my room so i didn’t get to enjoy it 😔 Check in was smooth and fast as the staff helped me with the self check in kiosk.

We have very nice stay for 3nights. Very convenience to food establishments.

The service was good, hotel room was clean, but some of the staffs are rude.
