I stayed at this hotel during my Taipei trip and honestly, it was a very frustrating experience.
The biggest issue was cleanliness. The floors were very dirty, and there was still hair from the previous guest when we checked in. The room was extremely dusty, and there was visible black mould accumulating in both the room air ventilator and the toilet ventilator, which was quite concerning. My brother has eczema and developed rashes midway through our stay, likely triggered by the dust and mould. I really wouldn’t recommend this place if you have sensitive skin or any existing skin or respiratory issues.
I kept asking the hotel to clean the room, but nothing was done until the second last day of our stay, which was very disappointing.
The WiFi was also terrible. It was very glitchy and most of the time we couldn’t even connect at all. The lights in the room were very dim, making the space feel uncomfortable and gloomy.
The bathroom design is another thing to note. There’s a gap, so if your bed is near the bathroom, you can smell everything. The bathroom glass is tinted but still kind of see-through, so privacy might be an issue for some.
The water dispenser suddenly stops around 10-11pm, which was very frustrating as you’ll have to wait until the next day. Also, washing and drying clothes require payment, so just take note.
The only good points are the location, which is very convenient,
Overall, the stay was really frustrating and not worth it unless you only care about location and don’t mind poor cleanliness, weak facilities, and potential health concerns.
