Hotels in Beitou Hot Spring Area, Taipei

First time visiting Beitou, and it was so close to Thermal Valley. The room was comfortable. Even though I saw some ants in the room, the location was excellent and the staff were very polite. I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance.

We were a group of seven staying from 1–2 November 2025. Good Service: The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service to go down from the hotel, which is located on a mountain slope. We requested an early check-in at 5 p.m. as we had a baby, and the hotel kindly accommodated our request. Since the building has four storeys and our rooms were on the 3rd and 4th floors, the staff also helped carry all our luggage to the rooms — much appreciated! Cleanliness: The toilet and hot spring areas were clean, bright, and well-maintained. Minor Issue: I stayed on the top floor, and around 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. we heard some noises from the ceiling — possibly from animals. I couldn’t sleep well that night. We gave feedback to the receptionist, who explained that the building is close to the forest and the sounds might have come from raccoons. Overall: We were satisfied with our stay. The excellent service and cleanliness made it a pleasant and enjoyable experience overall.

Very comfortable. Very clean. Full facilities available in the Public Spa, including Semi outdoor hot springs and Jacuzzi. All drinks and snacks are free in the room (included in price) . Staff are very nice. Recommend . 

I had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Chyuan Du Spring Resort. The room was comfortable and spacious, with good amenities and a cozy layout. I especially appreciated the private hot spring bath in the room, which allowed me to enjoy the experience in privacy. Housekeeping was efficient and the room was kept tidy throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with any requests. The Doorman was very helpful and recommended places for us to visit. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Chyuan Du Spring Resort is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing hot spring getaway. I would recommend it to couples, families, or anyone who wants to escape the city and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

I stayed here on December 5th. It's about a 15-minute walk from Beitou Station, but being away from the hustle and bustle of the station and close to Thermal Valley, I could hear birds singing in the morning and truly relax. The hotel itself is old overall, and the room was small, but the rooftop open-air bath was incredibly pleasant, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs. The lockers in the rooftop open-air bath don't have locks, so I left my valuables and bottled water in the lounge area on the rooftop while I enjoyed the bath. Swimsuits are required, but swimming caps are not. Rental swimsuits are available. Slippers and bottled water were provided in the room. The in-room bath is a jet bath, a bit small for two people, but perfect for one person to relax in. A shower is also attached, but since it's not a separate shower room, you have to be careful not to get water all over the toilet area. The breakfast was a buffet, with a decent selection of Chinese-style breakfast items and fruits, and I enjoyed it. There was a staff member who spoke Japanese and provided all the necessary information. It was a shame that the rooftop open-air bath only opened from 12 PM, so I couldn't use it in the morning, but I still enjoyed my stay immensely!

If you're looking for an awesome hot springs hotel, this could be a one. One it's a bit older and not super foreigner friendly. But if you speak some simple Chinese or you're willing to use a translator app, this place is pretty dang cool. You'll find locals who have memberships at the Hot springs there. The outdoor Hot spring is really cool and the water is 100% real Hot spring water so it's got that sulfur smell. I recommend getting a room with your own hot spring. This way, no matter what day you arrive, if there's anything about the hours not working at the public hot spring, you still have the opportunity to enjoy it. It's no five star brand new Hilton inn. But it's comfortable, sanitary and has a nice homey vibe. If you're staying for more then one day, I recommend that you tried the the local markets for a breakfast one day. The hotel breakfast is satisfactory. You'll see some buns, some rice, soy milk, a few vegetable options, some sausages, and a little bit of Western food. Very simple and gets the job one if you're not in the mood to explore. I came alone and I felt safe in a really enjoyed my time. I recommend you hike some of the local trails. There is some pretty epic hiking in this area. Don't be afraid to explore!!!

True to its new build, the hotel is clean and beautiful right from the entrance. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and I was especially touched that they generously refilled the mini-bar during room make-up! We thoroughly enjoyed the in-room bathtub, as well as the swimming pool, family baths, and public baths. Although the breakfast didn't have a huge variety of dishes, each item was clean and delicious. During happy hour, we indulged in unlimited beer, a cheese platter, and various other snacks. The lounge snacks were tasty too! We made unforgettable memories visiting the nearby Hot Spring Museum, Geothermal Valley, and Wuga Beef Noodle Restaurant. Oh, and the sulfur hot springs definitely did wonders for my skin!

The hotel is nice.. very convenient location.. Supermarket (Carrefour), restaurants, 地热谷, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Taipei Public Library Beitou Branch (unique design), Xinbeitou Historic Station, all just walking distance.. Plus the hotel has own hot spring/onsen, we can relieve our tiredness/fatigue after daytime walking around.. Hotel breakfast is good too.. They provide variety types such ********* (卤肉饭，Oden etc) , bread & pastries, congee, dessert etc.. Overall is a good experience and totally recommended..

The room was good and spotlessly clean. The complimentary welcome fruit and snacks were a really nice touch! The lady at the morning front desk provided exceptional service; she was incredibly friendly and helpful – a huge bonus! Breakfast was incredibly lavish and a definite highlight. What truly impressed me was how spotlessly clean the restaurant's toaster and all the utensils were – another big plus! Our dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Since it was a weekday, the soundproofing seemed quite effective; we didn't experience any noise issues at all. We would definitely stay here again!

cleaniness is 5 star service: location is quite inside with free transport at xin bei tou station and they aid to push our 3 lugguage up Con: Check in time is 7pm compare to the rest at 3pm is RED Flag We have to walk all the way up to 3 floor which their room is located out of the lift It is quite scary at night when there is werid sound at 3rd floor Do NOT come to xin beitou on Monday! all attraction is closed! There is no clean hot water instead of sulphur one if you are fine. water heater is turn off at night around 1130pm tested 15 mins without hot one. There is no other facilities in the resort.
