Boutech Hotels properties in Taipei

The hotel is quite far from the MRT station (even though the information says it’s a 5-minute walk it actually feels longer than that). However, taking the bus is much more convenient since the bus stop is less than a 2-minute walk from the hotel. There’s also a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart about 3 minutes away. The room size was decent. The walls weren’t very soundproof, as I could hear noise from the room next door and upstairs. Housekeeping didn’t change the bed sheets or pillowcases during my stay only the duvet cover and bathroom towels were replaced. However, since the room wasn’t particularly messy, I wasn’t too bothered by it. There are washing machines on the rooftop, which was very helpful, especially if you travel during rainy days (I experienced rain for 2 days and 2 nights out of my 4-day trip 😂). Overall, it was worth the price.

Pros: The environment nearby is nice. It is next to the station and the night market so it is easy to grab food at night. They also have people sitting in the counter in the lobby even in 0200 am, just in case you need any service at night. The room is very dark after you close all the lights and curtains, good for sleep. Oh and the free snacks, tea, and coffee is good too. I didn't order but there is also souveniors that you can order and they will sent to the hotel tmr, and Taiwan beers that the packaging looks great. They will also help you to keep the luggage before check in and after check out if you need to kill some time before getting the plane, there is a small mall nearby. Cons: It is wet in Taiwan and the wall looks moldy (But the bed feels ok). The TV in the room has nearly no sound (Well maybe that's the way to stop people from distrubing others?). Overall, I enjoy the trip and thr service.

Decent hotel, close to Zhishan station. No breakfast service but there are some breakfast options close by. I appreciate that they don't give you water in plastic bottles, instead you can fill up from a water cooler by the elevator. No complaints.

The hotel is great, front desk was extremely helpful to assist our needs. They do not provide one-time sanitary kits so you have to prepare your own. Location-wise, it is definitely very time-consuming to access to busy area such as Ximending if youre using public transport as the hotel is situated not so near to the area, so that is one thing you may need to consider on. Anyhow, there is one MRT near to the hotel so you can still go to places, it just takes time.
