Royal Inn properties in Taipei

The flushable toilet paper was a plus, and I couldn't hear any noise from the next room, which was great. My only minor concern was the limited number of power outlets. The only other thing that stood out was the shop next to the hotel entrance; it looked like some kind of 'girls' bar' or something similar. Other than that, it's within walking distance of Taipei Main Station, and I felt safe walking even in the early morning. There were also plenty of shops around, so convenience wasn't an issue. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Taiwan.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient, close to the Zhongshan commercial district and very near Zhongshan MRT station. However, the hotel isn't very new, though it's still acceptably clean. This isn't our first stay, but the room we were assigned this time was the noisiest we've ever had, due to air conditioning noise. The bathroom exhaust fan was also very loud, and there was a sudden, very loud draining sound from the toilet that was quite startling! Overall, it's mostly issues with the facilities; the location and service are not a big problem.
