Taishan Gaoye Hotel Reviews

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience! The room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I slept soundly until morning. The staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is also fantastic, close to great food and attractions. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!

Highly recommend! It's not far from Chikan, and even arriving after 10 PM from there isn't too late. I slept really well. The beef offal noodles a short walk downstairs were delicious! We each added an egg and ordered an extra pound of beef offal – a truly lavish breakfast, haha.

When are they going to renovate the rooms? Such a convenient location, but the rooms are so old! It's the only hotel in Taishan with a great location and a beautiful lobby, but the only drawback is how dated the rooms are.

The room was nice. I specifically chose a hotel in the city center for its convenience for family trips with kids. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.

The parking lot out front clearly had cars in it, but the staff said it wasn't open and told us to park in the underground garage instead.

The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but the cleanliness and service were good.

Facilities kinda old but it was near the street foods convenience.

There was no main overhead light in the room, just table lamps, making it rather dim at night. On the plus side, the bathroom did have a bathtub.

Located in the old town, this place is convenient for everything. There's a big supermarket downstairs, and plenty of restaurants and other services nearby. It's also connected to a pedestrian street, making everyday life super easy. The only downside is that it needs a renovation; while the room facilities are still functional, they are quite old.

We chose a non smoking room but can still smell smoke from other rooms. Should keep the smoking and non smoking rooms in different levels.

The reception staff are very helpful when we asked for directions and restaurants. Hotel's restaurant is closed therefore no breakfast arrangement ,and the Spa for massage was closed too. These are having negative impact to a hotel. Luckily the rooms and beddings are very clean.
