Although I have been to Shangchuan Island several times, the Guanrilou Hotel I stayed at this time was really the best experience. The hotel is located right in the middle of the beach. It is less than ten meters away from the beach😂👍. The boss is very enthusiastic and picked us up at the pier for free. The boss also sent us there for free on the last boat on the return trip. Environment: The hotel is the most facing the sea. Although I didn't book a sea view room, the beach is right outside the door, which is very close and convenient. Service: When I arrived at the scenic spot, I couldn't find the hotel. The owner of the convenience store next to it was very enthusiastic to help me call the hotel. The owner personally took me to the hotel and helped with the luggage. They were all very enthusiastic services. I went to Shangchuan Island on a business trip to Jiangmen. I checked into the hotel smoothly along the way. I rented a small electric bike and walked around half of the island leisurely. The hotel has delicious seafood and the portions are large. The barbecue restaurant next to it is also very good. The beach is cleaner and less crowded than other places. I like the simplicity of most of the aboriginals on the island. Although the asking price is sometimes high, you can get a bargain. In general, it is a very suitable place for vacation and rest for a few days. I will go there again if I have the chance. I will stay in their hotel again and hope to meet my sister at home.

It looks like it has never been cleaned; the facilities in the room are also very old, and the corridor is narrow and depressing. In short, it is not worth the price. Let’s talk about service. It was my mistake not to read the reviews before coming here. There are obviously so many lessons learned there. If you don’t eat there, you don’t expect service. We returned to the hotel from the scenic spot during meal time. We originally wanted to borrow his tools to go to the sea to dig for crabs, but these people tried their best to ask us to eat there, saying that it was not time to go to the sea yet, but we read the reviews and said that the food there was good. It was expensive and tasted bad, so I didn’t eat there in the end. After I came back, the faces of these “service staff” changed, and their acrimony was clearly displayed on their faces😅. When we asked them about things, they were nonchalant and their attitude changed from what made us laugh. The grandsons who were dining there turned into men who acted like we owed them millions. They refused to borrow tools for catching the sea, and asked us to rent them from a nearby store (the owner of a nearby store told us that the owner of this store is like this, If you don’t eat there, I won’t lend you anything), I even saw a previous comment saying that if you don’t eat there, I won’t send you to the port😅, boss, you know how to make money. Whether the food is delicious or not, other people's reviews say it is not delicious, and even made me want to vomit after taking one bite. I have not eaten there myself so I can't judge, but the price of seafood is indeed dozens of yuan more expensive than the nearby store. After staying for one night, I quickly moved to another hotel. I would like to advise everyone, if you don’t want to be ruined by the “service staff” here, you don’t want to be deceived by the price and taste of the food, and you don’t want to be disgusted by the environment and hygiene of the room. The room was clean and hygienic. It was convenient to eat downstairs. The TV and wifi in the room were broken. The room was facing the sea, which was very nice. The conditions on the island were limited, so it was a little expensive for this environment, but it was very good compared to other hotels!
