I had a pleasant stay at the Manley Hotel during my visit to Taishan. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, helpful, and made the experience feel welcoming from check-in to check-out. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options just steps away. Even if you need to head into downtown Taishan, taxis are easy to find and very affordable, making it simple to get around the city. The breakfast offered at the hotel was great, though it’s worth noting that it’s entirely Chinese cuisine—something I personally enjoyed, especially for an authentic local experience. The downside was the laundry dryer— There was only one dryer for 3 washing machines, it didn’t work very efficiently and took about six hours to dry a single load, which was a bit frustrating. The Wi-Fi was also very unreliable, it would connect and then drop constantly. Even when it would work, the speeds would fluctuate. Overall, I’d recommend the Manley Hotel for its excellent service, local charm, and convenient location.

The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful and even upgraded my room for free. The environment was clean and tidy, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere that made me feel so relaxed. It offers great value for money, and it's right next to a large shopping mall. I'd definitely recommend it to other friends. Just a heads-up, if you're driving, the parking is shared with the mall, so it can get a bit crowded on holidays. The breakfast was rich and varied too!
