Staying at the Shanxi Museum Meilun Hotel far exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, within walking distance to the Shanxi Museum and the Coal Museum, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. As a Huazhu hotel, the quality is reliable, with a modern and elegant design, and a refined and comfortable lobby. The room was spacious and bright, featuring a huge 2.4-meter bed with high-quality bedding for a truly restful sleep. Smart home features throughout, a separate wet and dry bathroom, and a complimentary mini-bar showed great attention to detail. The cleanliness was impeccable, thanks to excellent housekeeping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff were efficient and thoughtful, even offering welcome fruit upon check-in. The breakfast was rich and exquisite, offering a complete selection of Western, Chinese, and local dishes. Amenities like a gym and laundry room added to the convenience. Overall, it's quiet, comfortable, and offers great value for money. It's my top recommendation for business travelers and cultural tourists alike!

The hotel has a parking lot, which is very convenient for self-driving. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The hotel seems to be newly opened, as the environment and facilities are all top-notch. The location is also great, making it easy to get around.

This hotel offers great value for money. It's about five kilometers from the bustling city center, and within walking distance of the Shanxi Museum and Yingze Bridge. The hotel facilities are quite new, making for a pleasant stay.

Although there was a slight hiccup during check-in, the hotel handled it promptly and efficiently. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh food. It was really good. We travel a lot with our child and have stayed in many hotels, but I highly recommend this one. The environment is great, and the service is excellent – definitely worth recommending. The toiletries are comprehensive and disposable, which is very clean and hygienic. Many hotels nowadays use large, refillable bottles, which I find particularly unsanitary. The slippers were thick and comfortable. They even provided custom-made slippers and toothbrushes for children, which shows great attention to detail. When we checked out, they saw we had a child and proactively offered to drive us to the station. Their thoughtfulness is truly impressive. I strongly recommend this hotel. It genuinely feels like they put a lot of effort into everything.

The service was so-so. The receptionist seemed new; he was slow at everything and needs more time to develop. The restaurant was small and ordinary, and the rooms weren't as spacious as others; the design was rather clumsy.
