Parkview Hotel

I extended my stay for another night, and the next morning I still went to Yingze Park. This time I only walked less than 2 kilometers because I was lightly dressed, so I went to the hotel's 25th-floor gym for a 30-minute workout to break a sweat.

Facilities: Most are well-equipped. Hygiene: Very good. The towels and bath towels were all sealed in bags, which was great. The restroom also had alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers. Environment: The location is excellent. There's a small door to the right of the main hotel entrance that leads directly into the park. There are subway stations 🚇 and supermarkets near the hotel, and it's also very close to the pedestrian street. Service: The front desk staff were all very service-oriented.

The cloud-view room was great, spacious with a super large, comfortable bed. The high-altitude views were stunning, overlooking the lake. It's close to all the attractions, and the food scene is not to be missed. Breakfast was rich and varied. The staff, especially one waitress, was very enthusiastic; when I asked about a certain dish, she thoughtfully brought me a bowl to try. The lobby staff were also very polite and greeted us warmly. Housekeeping staff were helpful, explaining that if we needed anything, we just had to call service. I even left an earring in the hotel, and when I called, they found it right away. Although it wasn't valuable enough to ship, they offered to keep it for three months, so I can pick it up anytime. 👍

The service was excellent, with great attention to detail. Manager Yang and Miss Xu at the front desk particularly left a deep impression on us. The room was also good; the non-smoking floor genuinely had no smoke smell at all. We immediately decided to extend our stay for another two days!

Hygiene: Excellent. All towels, bath towels, and bathrobes come in sealed bags, which made me feel very secure using them. Facilities: Excellent. Although it's an older hotel, the showerheads show their age but are very well-maintained and work perfectly. Environment: The location is great. The room card gives access to a small gate leading to Yingze Lake Park. It's a nice two to three-kilometer loop for a leisurely stroll. Service: Excellent. They offered complimentary welcome fruits, and you just scan a QR code to request more amenities. There's also a delivery robot that brings food right to your door, all very convenient. Suggestion: I hope they can switch from instant Nestlé coffee to pour-over coffee bags. Instant coffee feels too low-end and doesn't match the hotel's overall quality.

My first trip to Taiyuan, Shanxi, and I stayed at the Taiyuan Hubin Hotel. Both the service and facilities left a deep impression on me. I initially booked two nights, but I liked the hotel so much that I extended my stay for another day. The front desk staff, Xiao Wang, was incredibly warm and attentive and even upgraded my room. The breakfast, in particular, was fantastic, offering a wide variety of local specialties, as well as Chinese and Western options. I also had lunch at the Chinese restaurant and absolutely loved it. If any of my friends come to Taiyuan, I will definitely recommend this hotel.
