A traditional, older hotel with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. Although it's a bit dated, the decor and maintenance are still quite good. The breakfast is abundant, and the location is convenient for getting around.

This used to be a five-star, state-run guesthouse with an excellent location. The breakfast was plentiful and authentic, and they even offered complimentary local Shanxi snacks, which was a thoughtful touch! It's right across from Yingze Park, offering beautiful scenery!

A true hospitable hotel! The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. We arrived from an early train and reached the hotel at 11:00 in the morning. The receptionist allowed us to check in early though the standard checkin time was 14:00 onwards. We stayed in the 5th floor. The housekeeper noted we washed a young child’s cloth. The staff promptly provided small packets of laundry liquid without being asked. They also left messages wishing us a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel was also good, being centrally located in Taiyuan with walking distance to a metro station. Absolutely love the service of this hotel!

My first choice is Yingze Hotel, 5th floor. The location is excellent, with a subway directly to Taiyuan South Station and the airport. The environment is good, and the staff member Xiao Zheng was very warm and attentive. When I forgot some personal items after checking out, they quickly mailed them back to me. At night, the room was also tidied up nicely. Really great 👍. This is a high cost-performance hotel, and I will definitely choose it again next time.

Probably was a grand hotel a long time ago but today it's an oldish dusty hotel that does not deserve its stars. As I was settling in, a staff came in my room and put a towel under my bathroom door because she said the water from the shower always leaks out... Then when I woke up, half of the lights no longer worked, so that was a shower in the dark... Nice staff, spacious rooms, but just everything old...

Yingze hotel was my dream hotel when I was young. It was only open to high ranking official. There was guard standing at the gate. Now I am here and enjoy the service. The service is best and traditional. The menu at the restaurant is traditional as well. Although the service is the best the charge is reasonable. If you are looking for value for money, this hotel is an excellent choice.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. Non smoking room is good and has all we need. Breakfast is offered for Chinese food and western food. They even offered free moon cakes for mid-autumn festival. Excellent experience

We booked a family room, which was beyond our expectations. First, Xiao Zhu and Lele at the front desk saw the three of us and upgraded us to a family suite for free. The room was very big! ! It was bigger than expected, with two bathrooms. There was a problem in the middle, so we contacted the guest room. The lady in the guest room came very quickly and solved it very quickly. The service attitude was very good! The security guard at the door was also very responsible and would take the initiative to help us carry our luggage. When we came back at night and wanted to get something in the car, the security guard also looked over responsibly. It felt very safe to park the car here. The noise was low and the sound insulation was very good. I didn't hear the elevator and the corridor next to the elevator. It's very close to the Lao Taiyuan Restaurant, 500 meters away, and you can stroll in the nearby park at night.

I stayed in room 8152. The room was cleaned very carefully and the stay was very comfortable. The service was very good. I would like to especially thank Zhao Xue and the aunt who helped with the cleaning for their warmth and thoughtfulness.

This hotel is recommended by a friend from Shanxi. She said she would stay here every time she went to Taiyuan with her family! Although the hotel is historic, it is really clean! They cleaned every day and saw that we washed our clothes by ourselves, so they gave us travel-sized laundry detergent. They also saw that we put cosmetics on the table, so they gave us makeup remover wipes. It was really thoughtful! The transportation is also convenient. It only takes about ten to twenty minutes to walk to Liuxiang and Zhonglou Street, and a few minutes to walk to the Da Nanmen subway station. You can take the subway and then take a taxi to the scenic spots, or take a taxi directly to the scenic spots. It is very convenient. The egg-filled pancake shop behind the hotel is delicious (open during breakfast hours). The shuttle bus after the concert will pass by the Da Nanmen subway station, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to get a taxi back to the hotel! Really great! The room is not big, but it is clean and sanitary, with free drinks, which is very considerate. I told the front desk that I didn't want a bathtub and they immediately changed the room. The two beds can be easily put together, room 725, the room service is very good!

Yingze Hotel has always been my first choice for traveling in Shanxi, and this time was no exception. Xiao Zhu, Xiao Tian and Ting Ting at the front desk were enthusiastic and attentive. I heard that Yingze Hotel was the city government hotel in the past. It has the style of an old hotel in the past. The waiters were very enthusiastic. They greeted each other with a smile.
