Taiyuan Boman Hotel (Railway Station Branch)

The room was quite spacious and offered a great view. The facilities were adequate, and basic toiletries were provided. The staff were very attentive, patiently offering recommendations for local snacks and clear directions for public transport to tourist spots. It was very reasonably priced. Overall, a great stay.

The Platino Hotel Taiyuan Railway Station West Square branch became my perfect sanctuary during my Shanxi trip. My first night in Taiyuan was at a different chain hotel. While I had chosen the room knowing its window situation, it turned out to be tiny, and the air conditioning blew directly on me. Adjusting the vents didn't make a difference, so I ended up turning it off and enduring a hot, restless night. By pure chance, I booked the Platino for my second night, and it was absolutely perfect: a spacious room, a spotless environment, the train station just a stone's throw away, and the entire hotel was wonderfully quiet. I finally got a fantastic night's sleep. What truly made the difference were the owners – an incredibly friendly couple who are meticulously attentive and genuinely thoughtful. They made such a lasting impression that even during the rest of my trip outside Taiyuan, I kept thinking about the hotel, knowing I'd stay there whenever I returned. The owner would proactively reach out, asking 'What time are you coming back today?' I, in turn, never hesitated to directly request a specific room, and as long as it didn't inconvenience other guests, they would graciously accommodate every single request. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be staying at Platino again on my next visit to Taiyuan.

There is a toothbrush but no toothpaste. The bed board is higher than the mattress and has a lot of holes. My feet are swollen from scratches. I have stayed in so many hotels, but this is the only one like this.

Very, very good. The room was clean and spacious, with good facilities. The owner was very nice. The location is very convenient, with a subway station just downstairs, making it easy to get around. There are also many good restaurants and fun things to do nearby.
