I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jin'nan. The breakfast was just okay, but you can't beat the price. The heating was fantastic. I highly recommend the Ga La BBQ restaurant nearby; the driver who picked me up suggested it. Their grilled mushrooms tasted just like meat!"

"The room was clean and tidy, very close to Liuxiang Bell Tower Street, but not in a noisy area, so it's a great choice for those who like peace and quiet. It's right next to the Jinshang Museum, and you can cycle to Wenmiao Temple and stroll along the Fen River in about ten minutes, so transportation is convenient. I came early to store my luggage, and the staff were very nice. The breakfast also had a lot of variety. A very satisfying hotel experience."

"Facilities: The hotel's decor is simple yet stylish. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, with no obvious dust. Environment: From the 3rd floor window, you can see the South Station and Impression City, offering an expansive view. Service: The front desk staff and cleaning ladies I met were all very friendly. Fairfield by Marriott was our last stop on this Shanxi trip and the most comfortable place we stayed. The hotel's location right next to the train station makes it incredibly convenient for getting around. I highly recommend it to friends visiting Taiyuan! 👍 The hotel also has breakfast on the 2nd floor with plenty of choices and a spacious dining area. Downstairs, there's a convenience store and a local specialty shop, and across the street is Impression City shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. The only slight regret is that I heard the laundry room was temporarily out of service; I hope it's fully operational next time I visit. Overall, the hotel is still fantastic! 😃"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the Food Street, Zhonglou Street, and Liuxiang. It's tough to get a room during summer weekends due to high demand. The lobby is spacious and grand, and the room facilities are quite new. The bedding is clean and complete, hygiene is good, and there's a mini-fridge. They offer a dedicated butler service, making communication easy if you have any issues. The front desk manager is diligent and resolves problems promptly."

"The hotel is conveniently located, with a subway station downstairs and many places to eat nearby. The best breakfast is definitely noodles. It costs more than 20 yuan to take a taxi from the airport. I strongly recommend everyone to walk around the Fen River and ride a bicycle. The environment is very comfortable. The people in Taiyuan are very well-educated. Unlike Guangzhou, the bicycle lanes are all electric vehicles, running, walking, and walking dogs. The Shanxi Museum is very good. It can be compared to the American Museum. You can't walk through it in a day."

"This hotel is located in the heart of Taiyuan city, making it very convenient to walk to the Bell and Drum Towers, Food Street, and Liuxiang South Road Commercial Street. Check-in was super quick, and the front desk staff even proactively upgraded me to a lake-view king room. The bellhop was very polite, offering to carry my luggage and escort me to my room. Inside the room, I found a thoughtful note from the housekeeper, who also provided fruit and a late-night snack. The room layout was well-designed, and all towels and bath towels were sealed in paper bags, clearly marked 'sanitized.' I had a very quiet night's sleep; the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast buffet was quite rich, and I personally found it very much to my taste. The hotel's dining options are also great; I enjoyed the串串 (Chuan Chuan) mini hotpot on the outdoor terrace, which was fantastic. This is a high-quality hotel that I'd definitely recommend and would love to revisit!"

"The bedding was comfortable and the room design was reasonable, but the room had a noticeable smell of new renovations, and the facilities were generally unacceptable. Despite being advertised as a hotel built in 2025, the toilet sliding door was difficult to open, the bathroom sliding door did not close properly, the TV signal was poor and frequently froze and could not be projected, and the air conditioner made strange noises. It was simply impossible to associate this with the quality of a five-star hotel."

"Jinyang Lake's Hidden Gem Accommodation | Wanghu Hotel - Highly Recommended! This was my first time staying in a duplex room and it was such a pleasant surprise! The split-level design is uniquely clever, offering a great sense of depth and style. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making check-in efficient and smooth, and patiently answering all my questions. The hotel is very close to Jinyang Lake, so you can walk to the lakeside to enjoy the scenery – a very pleasant stroll in the evening. The room was clean and tidy, creating a quiet and comfortable living atmosphere. It's perfect for both group trips and short getaways. Both the facilities and service are top-notch, exceeding my expectations. This is definitely my first choice when visiting Jinyang Lake!"

"The last stop of the Spring Festival trip was Taiyuan, and I had a very satisfactory stay! Facilities: Very complete, there are two kinds of pillows, and the pillow height is very suitable. There is an electric drying rack in the bathroom, and the wardrobe is equipped with adjustable hangers. What is particularly eye-catching is that the mattress has an electric massage function, and it is not the kind of soft mattress that sinks into it as soon as you sleep on it, which is very comfortable. Hygiene: Very clean Environment: The feeling of an atmospheric five-star hotel. The swimming pool is large, the space is high, and it is not stuffy at all. Service: The service staff has a good attitude and high quality. When you arrive at the store, there is a special person to help deliver the luggage to the room, and the luggage cart will be delivered quickly when you check out. There are many kinds of breakfast, and the local snacks of Taiyuan will be introduced to the guests. The room can also order 6 snacks for free every day, and the meals are delivered to the room, which is quite unique."

The amenities were all top rated: I was particularly happy to have a Dyson hairdryer in the room! But what made my stay there so enjoyable was the 6-star service offered by the Hotel’s manager Darcy and her team. They were super professional, friendly and attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure that the set up in my room met my requirements and that I had a great time in Taiyuan.  The breakfast spread was sumptuous and the food was delicious."

The hotel is located in the central area and is convenient for access. A very wise choice."
