"Location of the hotel is a bit remote. The elevator door opens as long as you press the button. This can be inconvenient when the door opens when you want to go down. You find out only when you are in the elevator that it is actually going up. The front office lady didn’t make us feel welcome. She snatched our passports from my hands. The room floor skirting was peeling. Room looks orderly and acceptable at one glance. But once we have settled in, it appears less-than-clean. We suspect housekeeping staff hardly do anything else except replace the towels, throw out the rubbish and re-arrange the bedding flimsily. Not sure if they change the bedding. Auto-door closer is not installed for the room door. So we had to make sure that our door is locked when we left the room. Poor sound-proofing. We can hear the guests (next to our room) talking. The room has an unpleasant odour. Air-conditioning is not cold enough. We normally switch off all the lights in the room when we sleep. We only have the shower cubicle and toilet lights on. This can’t be done. We have to choose between all lights off or some lights on in the room as well. Consequently, we didn’t sleep well. Bathroom Although the shower cubicle and toilet were separated, their glass doors were not translucent. Despite the glass film, they are almost transparent. As a result, it was best that only one person use either one of them at any single moment. Flushing of the toilet bowl is done manually; like in most homes. The toilet roll is half used up and there is no spare! We ran out of toilet roll in the night! We ran out of hand soap in the morning as I was washing up. Breakfast: A bowl of loose sugar was offered; unhygienic. There were no sugar satchets. Front office staff helped themselves to the breakfast spread at 9:22am. The buffet is hardly replenished even though guests are still coming. You basically eat what’s left. The make-shift laundry is located in a guest room located on the 4th level. There are two washer-cum-dryer which could very well be less-than effective. As a result, we didn’t do laundry. Laundry plastic bag was not replenished. The hotel is quiet and business is poor. The only time when it was busier could be owed to a holiday whereby one’s ancestor tomb is washed. Staff service is unprofessional and poor. This permeates the entire work culture; front office, restaurant and housekeeping. We won’t return to this hotel."

"Breakfast started at 7 AM. I arrived at the restaurant around 7:05 AM and there were already quite a few guests. All the other dishes were laid out, but when I looked for the crab roe buns, there were none. I was told they were still steaming and would be ready in about ten minutes. By 7:20 AM, still no crab roe buns. Three or four other guests also asked about them during this time. I had to rush to catch my high-speed train, so I went upstairs to pack and check out. My main reason for staying at this hotel was for the crab roe buns. It's really unnecessary for a hotel with such a small layout to delay serving them, especially when they even put up a sign limiting guests to one per serving, and they didn't even bring them out after multiple inquiries. I was originally going to give the lowest possible rating, but the doorman kindly helped put my luggage in the trunk, which earned them an extra point. Also, earlier this month, I stayed at another local hotel and they had plenty of crab roe buns!"

"I had a fantastic stay at Fuli Wanda Realm Hotel, Taizhou for the 2 nights. The room cleanliness was exceptional—the room was spotless from top to bottom, which made it very comfortable to relax in. A huge thank you to the front desk staff as well. They were incredibly courteous, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful with every request. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of a value for money hotel accommodation and top-tier service in Taizhou, Zhejiang. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel environment is really nice. The parking lot is super close to the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. After checking in and going upstairs, you can see the beautiful Fengcheng River right from the elevator landing, it's absolutely stunning. The room's cleanliness and soundproofing are also excellent. For this price and location, it offers great value for money."

"Rooms and facilities: Reasonable structure, exquisite decoration, clean and comfortable bedding. The entire building design, structure, and configuration are all carefully considered. Slightly British style. Service: warm. The front desk waiter explained in detail and took the guests to the room. The restaurant waiter proactively reminded not to order too many dishes to avoid waste. (The portion of the dish is large, and the actual fish is larger than the one in the photo). Breakfast: There are many varieties, especially the fish soup noodles and fish soup are very delicious. There is freshly ground coffee. The chef's cooking is exquisite. Surroundings: The riverside attractions are right outside the back door of the hotel (the park is under renovation and will be completed before the Spring Festival). Walk 600 meters to Lao Cai. On the opposite bank is Guanhailou (Song Dynasty) Park, which contains the last section of the ancient city wall (nearly a thousand years old). It is about 1,000 meters walk to the park."

"The bathroom leaked really badly; after a shower, the floor was so slippery it was dangerous to use the toilet. The location was quite remote, with its only advantage being its proximity to the train station. The front desk service was also mediocre; they promised to send water, but it never arrived even after an hour. I had to call them again to finally get it."
