Taizhou Skyscraper Chao Hotel (Huangyan Jiufeng Park)

Great for business trips! The room had a smart toilet, a wet/dry shower, and a tatami mat. The service was also excellent. I originally booked for one night, but my plans changed, and I had to cancel the second night. The hotel processed the refund directly without any hassle. The room temperature was just right and comfortable.

The room environment was pretty good, and it was quiet at night. It's also quite convenient for getting around. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The facilities are all great, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The environment is really nice, and it's quiet with good soundproofing. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive.

I won't be staying here again. If it hadn't been almost dark and I didn't want the hassle, I would have changed places: 1. No independent air conditioning. The temperature was very low that day, so I didn't dare wash my socks and underwear because there was no heating function to dry them. And there's no way I'd put my socks in a public dryer – that's just gross. 2. The promised refreshments/foot bath service/warm milk/late-night instant noodles were all false advertising. If it's written down, it should be in the room as stated, both in type and quantity. But when I opened the door, there was nothing. I had to call the front desk, and only then did they say I needed to ask for it. Finally, they brought one box of milk and one pack of instant noodles. The price of the room I booked included all items in double portions, regardless of how many people were staying. If you don't offer it, don't write it. No one *needs* it if it's not provided, but if you advertise it, you should provide it. Don't make guests call to get it. 3. There's no desk in the room, so it's impossible to use a laptop or work. There's only a small table that comes up to just above the knees. 4. The toilet and shower rooms are separated by a two-way mirror. I don't know which weird narcissist designed this – can you really admire your side profile while sitting on the toilet? 5. The soundproofing is mediocre. I heard loud laughter from both men and women late into the night. 6. The slippers are not disposable but reusable. Even if they're disinfected, fungi usually aren't killed off, which feels pretty disgusting. There were some good points, like the breakfast being decent and the shower having a rainfall head, but these were all negated and offset by the negatives. Ctrip is getting worse and worse.
