Jr Hotel Clement Takamatsu

We stayed as a party of three, and the room was very spacious—plenty of room to lay open three large suitcases. The room was very clean. Our room had a great view of the harbor right from the window, and it's very convenient for getting to Teshima, Naoshima, and Ogijima. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. You can head to the shopping arcade for dining and shopping, and taking a taxi isn't expensive either—it only cost 900 yen to get to the Pokémon Center. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get the chance to visit Takamatsu in the future.

Staying in a Japanese-style room takes some getting used to. The upside is it's quite unique and spacious. However, I must point out that there's a strong odor, especially a musty smell right at the entrance when you open the door. The air purifier running in the room helped somewhat. Otherwise, it's decent. It's directly opposite the station, which makes it very convenient for island hopping from the pier. There's also a skywalk, so you don't get wet on rainy days.

There are several hotels near Takamatsu Station, and for my first visit to Takamatsu, I chose this one due to its many positive reviews. The location is great, very convenient for island hopping. The room itself isn't very spacious, especially the long counter by the window, which really encroaches on the space. Plus, they put a small table on it, which felt a bit redundant. The service was a bit cold, but the room was cleaned daily during my three-night stay. If the price is right, this hotel is a decent choice.

This is definitely the hotel to stay at in Takamatsu! It's right next to the JR station, and the lobby is very luxurious. Even though the room is compact, it's still quite spacious. The breakfast is also delicious, and you can enjoy views of Takamatsu Port through the large window. It's the perfect choice for island hopping!

The room was surprisingly spacious for Japan, which is a rare find! It faced the harbor, making it super convenient for island hopping by boat. Breakfast was also great, with a good variety, including porridge and a waffle maker so you could make your own.

This hotel is super convenient, right by the train station. Even though it's an older hotel, the facilities are still pretty good! The service was excellent overall, and my room faced the ocean! It's incredibly convenient for island hopping too – the ferry terminal is just across the road, so you can easily get anywhere. 👍
