The room itself was nice, but strangely, the bathroom fan couldn't be turned off. I even asked the front desk about it, and they said it couldn't be shut off, so it was running all night. The head of the bed was right next to the bathroom wall (Image 1), which affected my sleep. However, the hotel's location is indeed excellent; it's right above a shopping street, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. So, perhaps staying in a room type like Image 2 might be less noisy? (Just a guess) After all, the head of the bed wouldn't be directly against the bathroom.

The hotel's location is fantastic. It's a 10-minute walk to Kochi Station, and the airport shuttle bus stop is right outside. The famous Love Bridge is also just behind the hotel. The shopping street is only a few minutes' walk away, making it super convenient for eating, browsing, and shopping. Hirome Market is also nearby. The front desk staff were very patient and thoughtful. The breakfast was good, and they had delicious bonito. Plus, the room windows actually open! I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kochi.

Arriving at the hotel but it’s is hard to find the main entrance and the location of the parking lot is hard to find. Eventually found its connected to the mall in the same location access to the parking entry and then went to the room service attitude was very poor. Then entered the room found a little blood on the bedding sheet even told the front desk although immediately came to replace the new one but it’s not professional. This should be the basic common housing cleaning checking that reflect the hotel did not proceed the correct cleaning procedure

Although it takes more time to get this hotel than the other hotels which just build surround the JR station, it's had big clean rooms and modern facilities. It's a worth to go, and this hotel is super close to the restaurant and shopping area, it's a nice experience to live there.

The hotel is tidy and clean as expected from one of the big hotel groups in Japan. The parking is awesome too, JPY 1,200 per night regardless of the duration, great for short city travels.

We have stayed in many Daiwa Roynet Hotels in Japan, and we’ve trusted the Daiwa Roynet brand very much. However, the Takamatsu property is the worst we’ve experienced so far, and after this stay we will be more cautious about choosing to stay at Daiwa Roynet in the future. The facilities are very old and urgently need refurbishment. The cleanliness of our room was also quite shocking. There was hair in the bathroom and bathtub, and hair on the pajamas they provided, as shown in the photo. There were stains throughout the room as well. The bedding used is also smaller than the bed as shown in the picture. If you’re planning day trips to the islands, the hotel isn’t very close to the port. There are plenty of shops nearby, though, so the overall location is ok.
