It’s a walk up type ryokan and we are expected to carry our own bags .. and dinner time is inflexible and since we arrived late it was a bit rushed to keep to the time they fixed for us .. we didn’t feel very happy about that

Amazing place. It's a must visit for at least one night, but better for 2. Traditional style cozy room with a balcony and personal hot spring bath with an incredible view. You get dineer and breakfast with a vast variety of food to try. Service is outstanding. Staff speaks english, there are guides in your room on how to behave in such places and how to get the best experience from staying Don't forget to book a shuttle from the station 1 day prior and back to the station when you get here Overall 10/10

Super nice classic hotel in one of the main parks from Takayama. There are several hiking routes next to the hotel, and they offer public and private baths, as well as breakfast and dinner. Would stay again without a doubt!

Loved the whole experience! We had breakfast and dinner with the booking which were delicious traditional foods we typically don’t see anywhere else. The location also had private and public onsens as part of their amenities. Make sure to make a call to the staff so they can pick you up from the bus station!

Absolutely amazing! It has a really old-fashioned Japanese hot spring hotel feel! So comfortable and relaxing! The breakfast was delicious and unique! Plus, there's an old town nearby – awesome!

The environment was tranquil and the stay was very comfortable 👍 Dinner is worth ordering – beautiful and delicious, girls love it! Breakfast was exquisite, perfect for taking photos, definitely worth a double dose of good food and photos.

It was truly the best value for money. The Kaiseki was delicious, and the breakfast was the best. It is about a 5-minute walk from the city center; it is uphill, so it might be tiring in the heat, but the scenery is artistic. I really liked the old Japanese style of the accommodation, and it was spacious.

A traditional establishment, a bit old but with character. The dinner is excellent, with high-quality ingredients. The service is very friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle to and from the train station.

The hotel staff are so kind! Overall, the facilities feel a bit dated, but there was absolutely no inconvenience in using them, and the ryokan was wonderfully tranquil. I was especially satisfied because the tatami room is something truly difficult to experience at other hotels 💞 I highly recommend it! 🎀

The mountains are so beautiful~ On the way there, I took the Nongfei bus. Passed through many caves After passing through one of the caves, the scene in front of me was completely covered by a layer of white snow. It’s so beautiful~ Whenever I travel independently, I always stay in the cities when I come to Japan. We stopped at Takayama and stayed here for one night. Unexpectedly, it was the most beautiful scenery. I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Gaoshan🥰 "Hotel Part" The staff introduction at check-in was very detailed. When I go in and out, I greet you warmly when I see you. The room was very clean, no insects were seen Private rental bathhouse 1,000 yen/40 minutes, water temperature is appropriate The slope outside the hotel is a great place to pile snowballs 😆 Have fun I will consider staying for more than two nights next time I come here There is a shuttle bus to the JR station before leaving. A night of snow enriched my entire birthday trip Thank you 😍

Japanese-style tatami large room The environment here is too quiet, just like in the mountains. I ate Hida beef for one meal and two meals. I saw the colorful rainbow in the mountains in the morning. It was so beautiful. There is a shortcut down the mountain to the market. It is an unforgettable place.

On a small hillside in the mountains. It's about a 10-minute walk to the city. One thing to note is that the check-out time is 1 o'clock. We thought it was 11 o'clock, and the owner was a little unhappy. But it was okay.
