Octavio is an amazing host, he welcomed us with a drink and shared tips on local attractions and meals. The room was surprisingly spacious, felt clean and safe. He went above and beyond by helping transport our luggage to our next hotel in Takayama, which let us enjoy the town without worry.

The best place I stayed so far! Since I got lost on my way to Takayama, I arrived very late. Nevertheless, the owner, Octavio-san, was nice enough to wait for me and give me a quick tour of the house, and he also took the time to recommend me some places to see in the town! The house is so beautiful, very clean, and the futon amazing, I slept like a freakin' baby! You have to walk a bit to see the main spots, but everything is at least 10 minutes walk , so very close. Overall I really enjoyed my stay, Octavio-san is a wonderful host, and I wished I stayed more in Takayama!
