Right next to the castle, they offer JR shuttle service, dinner is served in your room, and the 'beauty skin' onsen (hot spring) is also great. It's an economical onsen ryokan, a good choice.

This is a traditional Japanese onsen hotel, conveniently located right by the Takeo Onsen street. It's a 'one night, two meals' plan. The room was incredibly spacious, in a traditional Japanese tatami style. Dinner was served in our room, and for breakfast, we went to the restaurant at the agreed time, where our set meal was already laid out on the table. They even thoughtfully asked if we wanted more rice. The service was absolutely excellent.

Location: it was a 15 minutes walk from the JR station and when we left the hotel, they had a free shuttle service. The hotel is next to the famous gate and a tofu ice cream dessert place which was great.  Food: dinner and breakfast inclusive hotel room, both were fantastic  Rooms: clean and big  Onsen: it was a bit small but did have an outdoor onsen, there was no water dispenser so cannot hydrate afterwards

It is a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. I feel comfortable living here, especially the service of the Japanese meals in breakfast and dinner, which is a spare room for my family having dinner. However, it is not close to the station of “武雄JR”, it could be around 15 minutes walk from the station.

The room was spacious, and the two meals included in the night offered good value for money. After checking in, we first explored the hot spring town, but the streets were deserted and the shops were closed. The next day, the hotel shuttle took us to Takeo Shrine, which is right across the street from the popular Takeo Library Tsutaya.

The hot springs are very good, the breakfast and dinner are delicious, the service is attentive, recommended!

As soon as you dip into the open-air hot spring, you know what's in store! The water is full of minerals. When you dip your feet in it, the slippery texture of your feet must be full of minerals! Facing the rural plains in the open-air hot spring, it is refreshing and exciting. You must come again!

The room was clean and hygienic. The front desk service was so-so. The convenience of having a shuttle bus from Wuxiong Station was a plus. The breakfast was simple but filling. The location was also quite convenient.

It's just so-so; there aren't any restaurants nearby, and it's far from the supermarket.

The food was okay, but the service was so-so. The only downside was that the location was very close to the building entrance.

It is said that it was a hotel where the emperor had stayed before, so I chose Shunkeiya. In fact, there are not many hotels to choose from in Takeo Onsen Street. The hotel rooms are quite modern and the bathroom toilets flush automatically. The dinner is quite sumptuous, and the breakfast is a decent Japanese breakfast. The hot springs are pretty average, one indoor and one outdoor. Half of the shops on Takeo Onsen Street are open and half are closed, which is a bit depressed. The hotel is about one kilometer away from Takeo Onsen Station. Call the hotel and they will pick you up from the station.

The facilities were complete and comfortable, but somewhat old; the food was very good.

Overall, I think it was good. The hot springs were also very comfortable and made my skin smooth. The temperature was a little hot, but the breakfast was also enjoyable with a variety of ingredients. Since it is a hot spring town, the smell (sulfur) in the hotel bothered me a little, but I got used to it later. There are many sightseeing spots in Takeo and near the hotel, so I am satisfied.
