Chalet Christine

Fabulous place to chill. Staff, Eva and Celia, were wonderful and very helpful. No dinner but many good restaurants nearby. Great view of the lake. Convenient access(with car). Throughly enjoyed the stay. Planning on a longer return visit in spring or autumn. No lift though.

Perfect relaxing stay with a great lake view We LOVED our stay at Chalet Christine. The hotel has a perfect unimpeded view of the lake and mountains, creating a zen relaxing experience, and the pool and jacuzzi add to the relaxing vibe. Breakfast was perfect, the room was gorgeous and comfortable. Elodie at the check-in desk was incredibly kind and friendly, she gave us great advice on what to do around the lake and helped us get reservations at an amazing restaurant. I hope to come back soon!

unforgettable This was one of my best hotel experiences every. The place is absolutely amazing with the most beautiful views ever. Eva, the host was amazing. She went above and beyond to make every little detail perfect and she was super friendly. Wow. you gotta go to this place!

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The location is stunning with beautiful views of the lake and a short walk down the hill to get to the lake, a few restaurants and somewhere to hire a pedalo etc. The chalet was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order and the staff were so lovely and helpful. The spa was a little piece of heaven with beautiful views from the pool if the sliding doors are open. It is located just off the busy road that runs round the lake but you wouldn't know it once you are inside and in their private gardens. We would absolutely love to come back!

A beautiful, really well run guesthouse just far enough uphill from town to avoid the bustle and benefit from spectacular views. The staff were really welcoming and laid on a wonderful breakfast each day. Only a 15 minute walk down to the lake front for dinner (we loved L’Abbeye for a gastronomic treat but also the Cafe de la Place for good Savoyard cooking and a friendly buzz). There are free buses every 20 mins in the summer to Annecy. A great choice in Talloires and we were very glad we stayed there rather than in the lovely but crowded Annecy.

We loved Chalet Christine. We had a room on the top floor that had sweeping views across Tailloires and the lake. The accommodation has only 5 rooms and we chose the area so that we wouldn't be in the hustle and bustle of Annecy. We were greeted by Eva, who recommended restaurants and booked them for us. Each venue was fabulous. Breakfast was part of the accommodation deal and typically French and beautiful. Downstairs, the pool and spa were fantastic, and the sunbeds on the lawn were soothing after a big day out and about exploring. The only thing that I would like to see changed is to have the shower head hung on the wall rather than hand-held. We had the perfect stay in the perfect location.

Spacious rooms and yet Intimate accommodations. Our room included a semi-private garden space with a view of Lake Annecy. The spa was fantastic. The hotel is very quaint due to a limited number of guests.
