This is our go-to hotel every time we island hop to Naoshima and Teshima! You can see the Seto Inland Sea right from your window! You can even watch road bike races happening right below! Breakfast options are decent, and the view is absolutely fantastic – it's like a VIP viewing spot.

I stayed in Uno only for one night. The design of this hotel is very stylish and has interesting conception. The room is enough big, nice balcony with an amazing view, also there is free water. I also liked the breakfast and it was very good, liked it a lot. It’s a pity, that there was no tea and coffee at the reception and also there was no personal care accessories. Not all staff speak English.

For my first visit to the Setouchi Triennale in Japan, my friends and I spent the first two nights at this bicycle race-themed hotel in Uno. It's conveniently located near the port. The hotel is quite large, boasting a vibrant design. Although the rooms are compact, they are full of character. It's well-equipped and even has a designated public smoking area.

I stayed two nights in a single room. It was helpful to have a clothesline for drying laundry. The large public bath isn't open every day, so its availability varies. Though the room was compact, it was efficiently designed, and I had no issues with it. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, but there's a morning microbus service to the station, so I recommend checking with the front desk for details!

KEIRIN HOTEL 10 by Onkochishin @ Tamano Keirin Velodrome I stayed for three nights, specifically to coincide with the Summer Night Festival GII night races. This 8-story hotel is uniquely situated right at the first corner of the Tamano Keirin Velodrome. Its exterior is brightly colored, reminiscent of Keirin uniforms. During race events, floors 3 to 6 serve as dormitories for the athletes, while floors 7 and 8 are dedicated to guest rooms. Without a doubt, the ability to watch Keirin races directly from your guest room's terrace is an unparalleled experience! And when it's a GII race featuring star athletes, the excitement level is truly off the charts! Looking straight down from the terrace, you get a unique, bird's-eye perspective of the athletes as they navigate the first corner. Furthermore, staying in the very same building as the athlete dorms makes this a one-of-a-kind hotel – a true dream come true for any Keirin enthusiast. Even the room amenities, such as slippers and hangers, are thoughtfully designed with Keirin and bicycle motifs, adding to the overall thrill. Access to the velodrome is incredibly convenient: simply take the hotel elevator down to the 2nd floor, follow the passage, and it leads directly to the velodrome's FORQ restaurant. Passing through the restaurant takes you straight into the velodrome itself. This is an absolute must-stay hotel for any Keirin fan!

Very small room for the price paid. Inconvenient location. Onsen was closed and we couldn't use it . It seems many days it is closed.

The room was tiny, with barely enough space to move around once the bed was in. The location is quite a walk from the city center, easily 20 minutes on foot. I got soaked in the rain the night I arrived, and it was incredibly inconvenient to find out there were no laundry facilities upon my return. Soundproofing was poor. Breakfast was an additional 1700, but the options were very limited and there wasn't much worth eating. On a positive note, the balcony offered a view of cycling training in the evenings.

Overall, it's very good, though the location is a little remote. You can take the hotel shuttle or a taxi (1000 JPY one-way; first-time guests can claim reimbursement at the front desk upon check-in by showing their receipt). Electric bicycles are available for rent directly at the hotel. They're a bit pricey but very convenient. The food at the hotel restaurant is really delicious! I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The breakfast spread is very generous, and you can even make your own donburi bowl 🤤. It's very clean, and the interior design is quite stylish.

Such a lovely and unique hotel. The Onsen was very pleasant and spacious. You can rent beautiful electric bikes if you plan on visiting the islands. Restaurant is not bad, breakfast is varied and pretty good. Would recommend!

The hotel facilities are quite new. However, I booked a double room, and the booking platform defaulted to one guest. In my past experiences with double room bookings in Japan, adding a second person upon arrival (for a total of two occupants) was never an issue. Upon check-in, we were informed there would be an additional charge of over 15,000 JPY per night for the second guest, which amounted to roughly two-thirds of the original room rate. As it was a standard double/twin room, I simply couldn't comprehend why such an exorbitant fee was required. We contacted the booking platform to mediate, but it was unsuccessful. They refused to issue a refund and only offered two complimentary breakfasts (worth 2,200 JPY). Only upon check-in did we discover that the public onsen bath was unavailable that week due to a cycling race. To add insult to injury, the laundry room was also out of service, presumably because it's located on the same floor. For the total amount we paid, it was nothing more than a very ordinary double room. We only tolerated it because hotel options are scarce in the area; otherwise, no one would willingly be taken for such a ride.

I enjoyed the design of this keirin-themed hotel. All the dinner dishes at the restaurant were delicious.

It was my first stay, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The hotel's unique location, right next to a velodrome, offered an impressive view from the room. The interior was modern and immaculately clean, with a clear attention to design. The staff were courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out. The large public bath was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. Breakfast, featuring local ingredients, was both beautifully presented and delicious. I believe this hotel offers a unique experience that sets it apart. I would certainly love to stay here again if I have the chance.
