Ocho Artisan Bungalows

The rooms are clean, although the air conditioning have a little bit of a hard time keeping up with the heat outside. The staff are very helpful, especially Ilse. The view of the beach is beautiful. Breakfast are very filling... the fruit smoothies are our favorite! Thank you all for making this one of our best vacations.

The staff were top tier. Unbelievable service the entire time. Made friends with all of them and that alone would be enough to bring us back. That however, was not all. The property is stunning, the rooms are a total vibe. Such character. Food and drinks, also amazing. I really can’t say enough good things. We got engaged when we were here and I asked the staff to help me decorate the room for it. They did not disappoint. Blew all my expectations and then some. Anyone looking for the easiest, coziest spot around Tamarindo, look no further. Shout out to Ilse for taking care of us along with the girls in the office. Shout out to Pablo and the bar, you guys all rock. Pura Vida!

I just can't stress enough how wonderful this place is. We absolutely loved it. The bungalows are gorgeous (and air conditioned!). They are incredibly comfortable and spacious. The pool is great and the beach is AMAZING. The food at the restaurant was EXCELLENT. We had a wide variety for both lunch and dinner and just loved it. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. We had to leave early and they packed us a fruit / yogurt / granola bowl for each person in our party. After having mediocre experiences elsewhere, this location was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for helping us end our vacation on a VERY high note!

The location was perfect. The bungalows are walking distance from downtown Tamarindo. The staff was amazing and accommodating. I arrived at an early flight and they were able to check me in early. It was a great experience.

This was the most beautiful and amazing place my husband and I have ever stayed. We booked an extra night because it was so hard to leave. Absolutely will be back soon.

We just spent four wonderful days at Ocho Bungalows! The location is perfect right in the beach with beautiful bungalows in a jungle setting or beside the refreshing pool. The staff are amazing, all so friendly and outgoing offering amazing service all the time. The food is delicious and the drinks even better. A huge thank you to all the staff and to an exceptionally wonderful concierge Isla! You all made our stay a great experience and are very much looking forward to coming back soon! Thank you all!!

Best stay I have ever had on vacation! Property is adorable, you feel as if you are in the jungle while also being right on the beach. It’s a perfect mix. The concierge is AMAZING. Our experience was so great thanks to the staff here and the vibes were immaculate.

This hotel was amazing! We loved our room, and the outdoor seating area. The breakfast was outstanding, and we spent every morning and evening at the restaurant for breakfast and happy hour. The view of the sunset from this property is outstanding! The staff were also incredible!

All staff were amazing. So nice and each person will remember your name. Food was very very good. Everything we ate was delicious. Views are stunning, especially watching the sunset each day. Rooms are very clean. Will be back one day for sure. Thank you to everyone at Ocho for making our stay incredible.
