Tampa Marriott Water Street

I had an amazing stay at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale but still welcoming. The lobby is beautifully designed and gives you that “luxury vacation” feeling right away. The room was spotless, modern, and super comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the floor-to-ceiling windows gave an incredible view of downtown Tampa and the water. Everything was well thought out, from the lighting to the bathroom setup. One of the best parts is the location. Being right in the Water Street Tampa district means you’re steps away from great restaurants, bars, and the Riverwalk. It made the whole trip feel easy and fun without needing to drive everywhere. The pool area was another highlight—relaxing, clean, and perfect for unwinding. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional, always willing to help.Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. If you’re visiting Tampa and want something modern, convenient, and a little luxurious, this is definitely the place to stay. I would 100% come back.

Stayed for one night. We decided to park across the street for $18 a night versus $55 for valet. Very easy to park and pay everything was electronic with no issues. The hotel staff were friendly and very professional. The room was nice with a great view of the bay area. The one set back was when I saw a cockroach in the middle of the night in the bathroom. We notified the staff at checkout and they would inform house keeping. Hopefully they will perform the pest control actions. We would stay at the hotel if we have an event to attend in Tampa.

First class facility and location. Valet Parking needs some help.

We only stayed for one night. In town to see a hockey game. The staff was very friendly and helpful from check in, to bell hops, to car hikers. The only problem was when I came back to pick up keys because my room wasn't ready at check-in. I had to wait in a very ling line. They should have a set up for just picking up keys.
