It’s pricey and the room wasn’t clean.

From check-in to check out the experience was horrible. I was charged twice and had to call the attention to the desk clerk who took one of the charges off however, I was also charged $100 deposit which will not be refunded for up to 8 days. there was really no reason for this for extra charge which was not disclosed at booking. The first morning the breakfast buffet had only a few items one of which were eggs, which were obviously spoiled, no juice, running out of coffee and some white bread for toast pretty much sums up what was available When we return to the hotel after spending a day at an RV show, we were gone about eight hours. Our room had not been made up. that was at 5 o’clock in the afternoon after making two request someone finally showed up at 9 o’clock in the evening to bring towels and make bed which was a little late at that point. At check out I requested my deposit be refunded and was told I’d have to wait 5 to 8 business days. I thought that was not reasonable considering they were able to refund the double charge for me, but there was no arguing with the desk person. Their customer service was very lacking. There was no real friendliness about the staff and they made promises they couldn't keep! At this point I don’t think I will ever stay at another La Quinta because of this experience, I think the corporate offices ought to be notified about this particular franchise, and how they treat their customers.

For a single overnight and an event at fairgrounds, there are few places closer. Less than 5 min walk to Gate 1 (and you avoid daily parking at the fairgrounds). The only one good thing I can say is that the young lady at the front desk (who seemed to work 24 hrs a day) was super nice and friendly. Everything else was filthy.

The front desk staff was friendly, but not helpful during the stay. The hotel was quite dirty, and was in poor repair. After the first night of my stay, the cleaning crew was unable to supply me with fresh towels. The shower had quite a bit of rust in it. Overall would not stay again.

The room had missing paint spots everywhere. Mold and dirt on the ceilings and around the shower area. Floors were not even vacuumed, and hair was everywhere. The room smelled musty and moldy. We were on the 1st floor so if course it was loud and noisy upstairs. We feel as if they intentionally gave us the worse room ever. We almost checked out. Being nice to a person does not compensate for the lack of concern for the horrible condition of a property, that is being advertised as safe, clean,

When we checked in the young man absolutely did not know his job. The room was booked and already paid for but because I his wife had no. ID to show he said we had to leave. I was as the person who typed all information in *******, but used my husband’s information plus his credit card. We even had the text sent to my husband’s phone saying reservation was confirmed. Yet the young man kept telling us that we had to leave because I had no ID. I was having surgery the next morning and did not bring my purse is why I had no ID . We asked for MOD and he said he was it. Finally my husband said let’s leave and I said no, our room was paid for. The young man told us he was new and maybe wrong. To much of a problem, we will never stay there again. Plus our hair dryer did not work, said we would have to move to a different room 😳 my husband said just pull straight up and it would come off, just bring us another hair dryer. My husband had to put different one on because young man had no idea how to change the dryer.
