Honest review:
If you're looking for something modern or luxurious, this isn't the place for you.
This place is more of a piece of history as it's character. The dated layout and nature setting which you won't really get to feel or experience at other hotels.
Sure enough due to it's older building layout, some rooms will be larger and some rooms will be smaller than expected but that makes it stand out actually, but to be fair and take note, the building was initially a boarding school back in the early 1900s so it has the english style.
Of course the building won't be in perfect condition but the owner, Mr.Bala does his best to maintain the building, and also he is very friendly, constantly making rounds around the clock either to check up on the guests and monitoring the hotel. The staff in charge is also very friendly, making sure your stay is pleasant.
However some things of the hotel can be improved which I noticed is the breakfast meal and the room toilet. There are small patches of mold in the toilet which is most likely due to the humidity and the breakfast is quite underwhelming due to it's served portion, taste wise it's acceptable.
All in all, will I visit again? Surely, if I want to experience the nature vibes and quietness even though its next to the main road mind you. But if I bring a whole group, it would be a different story.
