Aston Karimun City Hotel

We stayed at Aston Karimun for 3 nights. We got a bad room. The window faced the wall, preventing sunlight from entering the room even if we opened the curtains. We found small cockroaches in the toilet area, ants on the side table, and spiders crawling on the bed. We complained to the receptionist and told them everything and asked for a room change of the same type. The next day after breakfast, the hotel upgraded us to an executive room. The room was very nice, large, and comfortable. Perhaps as a sign of appreciation for our experience in the previous room, which made us uncomfortable.  We are very grateful to the management and Aston staff who quickly took action on guest complaints. Thank you very much for the fast action and service. Will stay in Aston again when we go to Karimun.

Very clean and decent hotel to stay in Karimun. Service is good, they will have your requests delivered promptly. However, the room we stayed in doesn't have the towels prepared, we have to call the reception in order to have the towels. No floor mat provided in the toilet too, was quite slippery though.

I stayed at Aston Karimun from 20 April to 23 April 2026, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the room service. One evening, I ordered dinner and waited for almost two hours for the food to arrive. After following up multiple times, I was simply told that they were busy. Even after such a long wait, the food was still not delivered. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide quality hospitality. I was also disappointed with the way my messages and inquiries were handled. Responses were slow, lacked urgency, and did not provide any real solution to the problem. Instead of taking responsibility and updating me properly, the staff repeatedly used being “busy” as an excuse. As a paying guest, I expected better communication and customer service. Waiting two hours for dinner and still not receiving it completely ruined the evening and left a very negative impression of the hotel. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their room service operations and customer communication. Based on my stay from 20–23 April 2026, I cannot recommend this hotel.

It's a good experience stay in Aston karimun

Extension of stay was well handled by hotel team. Good food within.

Nice staffs and nice gym. The hotel is located at an isolated place. Difficult to find decent foods outside hotel.
