Sheraton Belitung Resort Reviews

Beautiful luxurious resort right at the beachfront. Our garden view room was private and very comfortable. Service was excellent. There are buggies to transport you around the hotel compound & to your room. Communication with staff & reception is via WhatsApp and staff & reception are easily contactable. Seasports & cycling are easily arranged with their partner vendor. There is also a pickleball court at the premise. The main restaurant serves very good food & desserts at very reasonable prices. What impressed us most was the breakfast which they took care to take our order the night before & pack for us to take along for our early morning flight back home the next day - we departed the hotel at 4.50am.

A great hotel with beautiful views, complete facilities, excellent service and a stunning private beach. We were very excited to enjoy the sunset here. ❤️

Everything was amazing. The hotel and the personal was quite nice and responsive for our request. If we would go to Belitung once again we would definitely chose Sheraton once again☺️

My another visit to Sheraton Belitung Resort, and it never disappoints. Every stay here has been a great experience. The resort is peacefully located, the beach is very clean, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. A great choice for a family trip. Looking forward to coming back again soon! 🌴☀️

Our May Day trip was quite pleasant. We spent the first two days on Liwang Island, then switched to the Sheraton for the last two, offering two completely different yet equally unique vacation experiences. The Sheraton has its own private beach, which is perfect for leisurely strolls. The only downside is that the water isn't a particularly vibrant blue, so it lacks that 'glassy sea' feel. The biggest plus is how incredibly uncrowded it is – really quiet and peaceful, absolutely ideal if you want to just relax and zone out. However, its drawbacks are pretty noticeable. The hotel only has one restaurant, so dining options are extremely limited. Plus, it's quite remote with hardly any other eateries nearby, which really restricts your meal choices. Getting around is also inconvenient; you have to arrange a private car in advance for any outing, so spontaneous exploration isn't really an option. Overall, it's not suitable for those who love a lively atmosphere or want to explore and dine out. But if you're looking for a quiet place to unwind, relax, and escape the crowds for a few days, it's definitely worth staying here.

Stayed here with my child and had a great experience. The service was excellent. Everything was good, except dinner was a bit pricey.

Sheraton was an excellent choice for the best service and place to be in Belitung. Immaculate beach and hotel. A fair distance from the airport (approx 45 mins). A shout out to Dio or Guest Service Officer which attended to our check in. He was very patient to inform us on the hotel facilities and surrounding. We arrived arrived extremely early and our room wasnt ready, he offered us breakfast at their restaurant whilst waiting for our room. Updated us about through WhatsApp when our rooms were ready. The Hotel Manager Mr Amin was a friendly person and welcomed the guests that arrived early that day with asking about our flights and trip to the hotel. You can see he works hard and attentive to the staff and guests in the hotel. He was at the breakfast restaurant each morning checking on the place and also walks around the hotel compound. Our buggy Trainee Jessina was a lovely girl. She drove us to the honey farm with care. Gave us bottles of water after the tour as it was a hot day. Ever smiling! In the restaurant, we were attended by Kheren that greeted us each morning with a smile and warmth as she ushers us to our table. Our server Reka was another lovely waitress that look after us during our stay and morning breakfast. Hardworking and observant! In the evening, we we served by Valentino who was a little shy but always smiling, he offered us krupuk (so delicious with sambal terasi and colo colo) as starter to our dinner. Our garden rooms was larger than normal, very clean with a bath tub outdoor and enough hangers and place to dry our wet swimming clothes. Eventhough we didnt need our bedsheets to be changed daily, they make up and tucked back the sheets like newly changed. We are already missing their smile and hospitality which were top notch!

nice location and beautiful beach (however there might be jellies), but didnt see any, sunset is beautiful. Bee visit is nice too.

Everthing is horrible. Dirty room with sand on the floor, long wait for buggy, bathroom with empty soap container. Not the usual Sheraton. THIS HOTEL IS UNDERSTAFFED AND OVERPRICED. DEFINITELY WILL NOT COMEBACK AND WILL SUGGEST MY FAM.N FRIEND NOT TO STAY HERE!!!

The location was quite remote. The food at the hotel restaurant was not up to standard and quite costly. The service provided was disappointing despite providing early reminders and advanced notice, the staff did not deliver what was promised.

This is my third time here, and it's fantastic. It completely outshines any five-star hotel in China.

Honestly the staff were so lovely, warm and friendly and made my solo trip even better!! 😀 Thank you! My room got upgraded and I had a great time with access to the beach an other activities one can do on the Island.

Our family of three stayed at the Sheraton Belitung Resort from April 13th to 16th. Although the off-season meant the room rates were lower, the service provided exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and hospitality. The hotel facilities were as sophisticated as anticipated, truly befitting a 5-star resort. Furthermore, we were fortunate to be given a room with an excellent ocean view this time, and the breathtaking scenery from our window deeply impressed our entire family. Moreover, outdoor facilities such as the private beach and pool were well-maintained, very clean, and a pleasure to use. Dining at the restaurant, in particular, offered a superb experience, with panoramic views of the white sandy beach and the islands dotted beyond. Above all, the service level of all the staff was exceptionally high. Their meticulous attention to detail, befitting a top-tier hotel, made our stay even more special. The hotel also offered a wide range of complimentary activities, ensuring we were never bored during our stay. The island hopping tour, arranged through a partnered travel agency, was also well-organized, allowing our family to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Belitung Island.

The isolated location can be a bit inconvenient, but the rooms are spacious, and the overall quiet natural environment is wonderful.
