the best hotel in penang... friendly enviroment... the food very best...

We like the sea view from the hotel. Comfy room. You may park your car at the tanjung point basement car park just beside the hotel and before you go out from the car park, remember to ask the receptionist to validate the touch and go card to get free parking. The convenient store (mynews) is just located at ground floor of tanjung point.

It's an affordable stay that strategically located in between Georgetown and Batu ferringhi. The beach is nice, pool is ok & service is decent. Recommended.

Not at the noisy beach area yet easily accessible to Georgetown (15 mins via Grab). There's a hawker centre with good local food. In house cafe, bar at the hotel. Walkable to the beach from the pool area. Overall, the amenities and service are adequate. For a Mercure brand of hotel, it's good to check it out.

I am writing to formally request a refund following my recent stay, as the overall experience did not meet the standards promised. Firstly, the facilities were in poor condition, including a cracked sofa which raised safety and comfort concerns. I had also paid for an additional birthday celebration service, which was advertised to include decorations and chocolates. However, only a simple balloon and cake were provided. Although I was assured that a refund would be processed for this shortfall, there has been no update since 27 April. Furthermore, housekeeping service was unsatisfactory. I had specifically requested for the bedsheets to be changed, but they were merely tidied instead. The television provided was also blurry, affecting the overall stay experience. In addition, the breakfast menu was repetitive and lacked variety throughout my stay. Given these issues and the failure to deliver paid services as promised, I believe a refund is justified. I would appreciate your action.

Thank you Mercure Beach Hotel for making my request come true and giving my child a birthday surprise this year. The hotel has a really beautiful sea view. The beach is well maintained even though it’s not that big. The room is clean and honestly, the pillows are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Even though it’s close to the main road, the room is well soundproofed. Only downside, the water pressure is a bit low. The soap & shampoo are Made in Italy and smell really nice. I was quite surprised with the breakfast menu, this is my first time seeing a hotel serve spaghetti, and I forgot the name of the beef dish (the one in the picture), but it was really good! The food was nicely seasoned, not too salty. There’s also quite a good variety of food and drinks. Definitely will repeat again one day 👍

First time stay in Mercure Penang and my son was so enjoying the beach & the pool location is just nice for us as we don’t like too hectic place. Very nice for chilling & relax. Definitely be back again!
