From the moment we checked in, the three gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful, as were the staff who cleaned our room. However, I have to mention that this morning, as we were in a rush, I asked the restaurant host if we could get a to-go box for one of our meals. He said no, which felt a bit unaccommodating. It would be great if they could improve on that. All in all, I continue to love the Fullon Hotel. Thanks again to all the front desk staff.
We stayed a night for a concert nearby, the hotel has small gifts for anyone who presents specific concert tickets which is a lovely gesture. Not the closest to train station but it's only a 15-minute walk so it's still acceptable. Loads of food nearby, no worries of getting hungry. They have a mini bar at the lounge with free snacks and drinks as well. Room is very clean and spacious , would definitely come back if have a chance!
the room was big,bed was comfy and clean, but when i book for overnight stay, the hotel member told me:eventho i booked overnight, i still need to checkout and recheckin again every single day! if not i need to pay extra charged for the morning stay!which was not wad i expected!because it did not clearly mentions in my booking detail…
but luckly the manager understand my situation and not charging me extra for this stay but will charged for next visit… so for overnight stay not really recommend because need to pay extra thn expected but overall was fine. and checkintime is 9pm,early checkin also need extra charged… jus for notice
It's a great hotel. Room is big enough, clean well equipped. It offers real coffee and shower gel shampoo hand soap and complimentary cookies are all nice. On top of it, on the third floor there's a sauna/bathhouse, which is also kind of gorgeous, when I went there I had the whole place to myself.
The only thing to mention is, that Linkou district is not exactly Taipei. For the ones who want to travel to Taipei city centre, the distance is definitely worth considering. But MRT station isn't far and the train ride takes about 30 minutes and bus about 1 hour. But yeah, it's far by all means.
The staff were really lovely and I'm sure that had I have spoken Chinese, the things I'm about to say would've been different as I would've been able to explain them over the phone and get them rectified.
CONS: I didn't get there until almost 1 am due to a flight delay and then missing the last MTR, so by the time I did get there all I wanted was a hot bath and a quiet night's sleep.
Firstly, the room had definitely had smokers in it previously. They may have done a treatment but it was still noticeable.
Secondly, there was 'hair' in the bathtub from a previous occupant. So I definitely didn't use it.
Thirdly, I got almost no sleep – even though the bed was really comfortable – because the smoke alarm in the room needed its battery replaced and spent all night making that very loud high-pitched sound that you cannot ignore!
Now again, had I've been able to pick up the phone and ask them to come and sort it, it could have been a different story, but...
PROS: the room was a great size, and the bathroom had both a spa bath and a walk-in shower. It also was very large and is well set up for customers to drive their vehicle into the ground floor of the unit then go up the stairs to the first floor where the actual room is. The staff were very nice and welcoming even though I arrived so late and even gave me some instant noodle cups. I also got a voucher for breakfast, but didn't end up getting to use it as I was too tired to get out of bed and go there before it finished.
I may not be the target clientele for this establishment, and while this particular stay had farcical elements, now that I know what it's like and how it works, I probably would stay there again simply due to how nice the staff were. It's not their fault that I don't speak Chinese.
The location is fairly convenient, but the room had an odd smell — I could not tell whether it came from the air freshener or the furniture. The overall decor also feels a bit dated. Considering the price, I do not think the value for money is particularly high. That said, there are not many hotel options near Chang Gung Hospital, and the front desk staff were all very warm and friendly, which made the stay better.

Parking was really convenient, as there's a contracted parking lot nearby, so you don't have to walk far. I found the price quite cheap; it's a very practical option for a one-night stay. The room wasn't super new, but the cleanliness was acceptable, and the floors and bedding were fairly clean. Breakfast was very simple.
