Fantastic, exceeded all expectations! This is one of the top ten hotels in Xinjiang (most of which are in Urumqi). If it made the list, there's not much more to say, just check if you can even get a reservation. Arriving exhausted, a young man from Hainan immediately helped us with our luggage all the way to the friendly front desk. He noticed my child was suffering from altitude sickness and car sickness. He promptly brought oxygen for the child and, seeing the child was about to vomit, quickly provided a bag. He kindly asked us to go upstairs first and then brought the child up after 30 minutes of oxygen. Upon entering the room, the air was fresh, and the room was excellent. It felt like going from an area with high altitude sickness to a high-oxygen environment, and I felt better almost immediately. When my child came up, the young man from Hainan even bought a bag of 'liuliumei' (plum candy) for him out of his own pocket. He also provided an oxygen tube for my child to use with the device in picture 2 before bedtime. The next day, on our way to the border gate, my child was noticeably more energetic. Friends, please strongly consider this hotel; it's a genuinely good hotel, not one with fake reviews!

Last time I was in Tashkurgan on a business trip, I stayed at Dongxun. This time, I didn't hesitate to choose it again – and it proved to be the right decision. This hotel is still the newest and best-experience hotel in Tashkurgan, even better than I remembered. 🏨 Hardware: Comfort on the plateau is key. The hotel's decor is full of Tajik ethnic style, creating a great ambiance as soon as you walk in. The rooms have diffuse oxygen supply, which is crucial for someone on a long journey for interviews. Getting a good night's sleep after a day's work is invaluable. The bed is genuinely soft; you just sink into it. The owner mentioned they offer over ten types of pillows and mattresses that guests can choose from to suit their preferences, which is incredibly competitive for a county-level hotel. There's also a dedicated butler who is available on demand for any needs, so you don't have to worry about a thing after a long day. 🥐 Breakfast: Four international flavors to feast on. The breakfast is ridiculously abundant, featuring dishes from China, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, with different options daily. Eating a hearty breakfast before heading out for fieldwork gives you energy for the entire day on the plateau. The breakfast restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the Pamir lamb hotpot! The lamb soup is incredibly fresh and sweet, and the meat is slow-cooked until it falls off the bone. A bowl of this on the chilly plateau warms you from the inside out. The yak beef hotpot next to it is also fantastic, with tender meat and superb flavor! 💝 Service: Details galore, truly heartwarming. What has always impressed me most about this hotel isn't its hardware, but its people. On check-out day, the front desk attendant saw my water bottle hanging from my backpack and proactively asked if I wanted a refill of hot water. I said no, and she immediately put two bottles of mineral water into my bag, telling me to drink them on the road. Such thoughtful details – it was the first time I'd encountered anything like it in all the hotels I've stayed at. Coincidentally, that day I had been driving around to interview spots, which flared up my cervical spondylosis. As I was checking out and leaving, I bumped into the owner and casually mentioned my neck pain. Without a word, he led me back to the lobby, pulled out a fascia gun, and started massaging my neck, saying, "This will make your drive more comfortable." At that moment, thousands of miles from home on the Pamir Plateau, I was truly touched by the kindness of a stranger. 🎭 Experience: More than just a hotel stay. Every afternoon, there's a Tajik home visit activity on the 4th floor, offering a close look at Tajik culture and life. Last time I was here for work, I was too pressed for time to attend, but this time I finally got to experience it. Staying at a hotel and also getting an in-depth cultural experience was an unexpected bonus for us media professionals. Oh, and the owner's Douyin account often shares stories about Tajik border guards, which I found deeply moving. This is a hotel with warmth and heart, and the owner is a person with stories and a strong sense of responsibility. 📍 Location: Right in Tashkurgan county town, convenient for all interviews. 💰 Value for Money: Super high. With this setup and service, the price is incredibly fair. ⭐ Summary: For Tashkurgan, choose Dongxun; you can't go wrong! This is my second stay, and I'll definitely be back again!

The hotel is really unique. The room has a small platform bed, and all the amenities are top-notch, which made me feel very secure. Oxygen is supplied to the rooms from 8 PM, and they offer free oxygen top-up services, saving a lot of hassle! 👍 A special shout-out to the staff—they are super enthusiastic, all handsome guys and pretty ladies, and always ready to help. It's a shame I missed the song and dance performance because I came back late from dinner. The rooftop terrace is great for photos, and the view is lovely 🍃. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Xinjiang. The room was spacious and the facilities were excellent. There's also a rooftop where you can see distant snow-capped mountains, and in the evening, there are Tajik home visits. The hotel staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and welcoming, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. To find such a great hotel in remote Tashkurgan County truly exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is brand new and quite unique. The rooms are spotless, and the service is exceptionally good! Breakfast is also very extensive and highly recommended! The location is convenient too, right by the Stone City.

I saw this hotel on Xiaohongshu and it definitely didn't disappoint! The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. We arrived late at night in the rain, so we just ate dinner right in the hotel lobby, and the food was pretty good too.

The rooms have a very distinct ethnic charm, and they offer a Tajik home visit experience which is wonderful. The breakfast is also excellent. The front desk staff even sing or dance, which is a nice touch. It's a highly recommended hotel for a stay.

My stay at Dongxun Culture Hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in, I was touched by the warm welcome from the lobby staff, who thoughtfully helped me take my luggage to the room. The room decor was very unique and created a wonderful atmosphere. All the hotel staff were highly professional and genuinely friendly. The restaurant's food was authentic and delicious, I was very satisfied with my meals. The biggest surprise was the Tajik family visit event; the dancers were all hotel staff, and their performance was incredibly professional. The collective dance at the end brought the event to a climax, allowing us to deeply experience the local ethnic culture. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!
