Quality Inn Acapulco Taupo

We booked the 2 bedroom unit which was perfect for our needs. The courtyard and spa was a bonus, although it wasn’t as private as expected and seemed to be like a shared area? The breakfast was lovely, lots of options to choose from. Conditioner was empty on arrival, I would suggest checking in between guests but no complaints!

The room was unsatisfactory. Cobwebs and insects on walls, broken & wobbly dining chairs. Even the stair railing to go upstairs is shaky. Chipped bowls and plates. Most serious is that hot water shower is almost impossible! Hot water seems to be limited. It's always freezing cold water! Imagine having soap all over your body and literally freezing just to wait for the hot water to come but yet not enough to rinse off the soap! I gave up trying to shower the next day. And no Aircon on upstairs room. We had to ask for a small fan just to ventilate the room

The location was convenient. Staff was nice and helpful. Especially for the late check-in arrangement. It’s value for a short stay here.

The staffs are friendly and had recommended a local cheaper taxi to us.

Everything was perfect. Check in check out was so smooth. Best part was you will get a Car park just next to your door.

The room we stayed in (3 bedroom townhouse) was part of an old motel next door that was acquired and integrated into Quality Inn Acapulco. Its very old and dated, much of the facilities are ran to their life end. That said, the motel is clean and convenient.

Convenient location within Taupo. Near to the lake and accessible to the town centre. Owner and staff are most helpful.
